Driving from Houston to SA is 90 minutes. Driving from Houston to El Paso, in the NM border, takes a whole day.

672 miles from H town to El Paso. That's 10ish hours of driving time. Another twoish from H Town to Louisiana, about 12 hours border to border.

Ahhh okay 672 miles from Houston. Hmm SA is closer than Houston I think. It's 450 miles from Chicago to where my parents live and I get there in about 4.5 hours. I think I can cover 200 more hours and make it there in like 6 hours. Nice.
