I'm seeing how this can work, since the AVF/Foreign Cinema forum is at a snail's crawl. It's not permanent, but it may help to liven things up, methinks.
On another note, it's a sad day for me since one of my favorite voices died yesterday:

This man's voice as Alfred on Batman: The Animated Series will always be remembered by me.
Well the Batman's batman will get his own batman in heaven, so you don't have to be too depressed about it.
And like I said in another thread, cross-medium threads on the MVF are fine as long as they have at least 1 fictional character. The AVF is moving at turtle speed and the MVF is clearly the most popular board (regarding non-comic characters), so salute to you for this new endeavor, Imp. Hoping it works out for the best.

I grew up thinking that that was the true voice for Alfred and all other actors and voices were compared to his.
The only one that I thought was good, other than Zimbalist, was Michael Caine's. But, Michael Caine is a ridiculously ****ing good actor and he could make almost any character awesome.
Case-in-point: When Alfred, in The Dark Knight Returns, got choked up because he said he didn't want to bury another Wayne, I got choked up, too. It takes really good dialogue and atmosphere to bring me to that point. I am not saying that Nolan had nothing to do with it but Michael Caine pretty much made that scene.
