Back when I named him (shortly after ST 2009) as my choice if Khan was ever going to be redone, there was no Skyfall to draw from. I was thinking a combo of his roles in No Country forOold Men for the cold calculating menace aspects and Vicky Cristina Barcelona for the charming suave guy who can melt women with a stare. Both Khan qualities.
