New thread up. Not a dig at anyone, not recriminating anyone for past transgressions, but the MVF Gimp match thread is for everybodys general enjoyment, and to cut out unfair matches in the MVF overall.Kind of a companion thread to the 'Greatest Mismatches' thread.
Sadako, I think you should post or remind us of a thread in which you gimped one side over the other as an example of that thread not being pointed at any particular person. It's to dispel any ideas that this is directed at any one particular person. If you show that you have gimped a thread in the past, you can stand on the neutral ground that it's "just for fun" and not to make fun of anyone.
Let me tell you why: because I think you're making fun of me and me only and I'm crying my tears of butthurt into my pillow, as we speak. 😐
😆
Its partly designed to prevent all further gimpation, shenaniganry and debate hooliehooing for all parties in future, to purify the rest of the section into pure unbridled debates, based on the likelihood of outcomes based ONLY on the fullest feats, attributes ands equipment of all characters.
It like how Boxing was ruined when they spilt up the belt into the alphabet belts...all the would be great fights would avoid each other hiding behind their different championship divisions... it just ruined the purity of the sport.
Well taking it back to good honest debating with out long boring lists of special provisions that have to be made in order to have a certain face off work out a certain way, would be like unifying the belts....ensuring that only the best boxers and toughest guys fight for the only title.
And also, if people wanna still have their special roleplay fantasy play out, they can there.
"All past crimes of gimping are forgiven, as long as no further transgressions occur" is the way forward, I think.
And also its another different slant on things in which we can sod around getting creative with matchups.
"John McClane vs all HP world ungimped": Stick it where it'd belong ...in the "Greatest mismatches" thread.
McClane gets magic, all wizards start wandless and kneecapped so he can win/stand a chance": Have it put in the Gimp thread.
Cause ANYONE can beat anyone ELSE, if enough handicaps are put on the stronger fighter. We know that and seeing it play out over and over is as boring as it is pointless in a debate to establish a winner fair and square..
So its not about mocking anyone.

Haha nah man. I'm up at 07:00 everyday to do my workout since I can't do it in the afternoon anymore. Just haven't been used to sitting in a classroom for 6 months is all. I'll get back in the groove soon.

as a mod, you should be behind pleasing your people.
making this place grow as a country and nation across the whole of kmc.
building an evil army to overthrow the comicbook area and take it over.
and most of all, fixing the vending machines, because we're out of lays chips again.

As a mod, I have been treading other forums (Video game versus, comic book versus, OTF) and scouting for new regulars to liven up the joint because, let's face it, KMC is dead as a door nail. I think that if we condensed all of the few posters left on this board into a smaller area, then we could liven up the joint.
Ironically enough, the liveliest forum is the Comic Book Versus. That place is always thriving.
As far as the vedning machines go, I apologize. I swear to never again forget the sanctity of the almighty Lay.
