Understanding and compassionate? When have you demonstrated either of these qualities? Genuine question.
I have no need to lead anyone. To me, everyone has a choice, and the right to make that choice themselves. I need no leader to lead me, and I need not make any decisions for anyone else. I can guide, I can explain, I can help, but in the end, I can only show others the door, they must make the choice wether or not to walk through that door, and then do it or not.
I have all the self confidence I need. I need not be arrogant, snobbish and smug about that. I have always stood by my convictions, and, I am not afraid of learning something new. if I happen to be proven wrong, I can accept that, learn and move on.
My problem is the frustration I get from those that refuse to learn by choice. I get frustrated terribly by those who are deliberately stupid, foolish, and act arrogantly about it, as though deliberate stupidity is something to be proud of. Stupidity itself is not a sin, nor is it morally wrong, it is a mental condition. However, choosing, deliberately, to be stupid, for the sake of arrogance or a laugh, IS both a sin and morally wrong, and I cannot stand by that kind of choice.
To put it simply, no human is perfect, people make mistakes, and they can be incorrect. There is nothing wrong with that. However, those that knowingly choose to be incorrect, no matter the reason, are vile people that spread falsehood for no reason beyond self gratification.
