For me, AH had the more thematic and interesting story, but WOWS was just more entertaining, a true escapism film. Also can't decide who was the better lead actor.
AH at times felt a bit on the dull side to me, while WoWS kept the entertainment from start to finish. But they're both superb films, just preferred WoWS of the two.

Read any good manga or watched any good anime dadudemon?
Yes, I watched a new anime called Harlock: Space Pirate.
I'd give it a 7 out of 10.
At times, it feels like a multi-hundred million dollar summer blockbuster. Meaning, they went really over the top with the effects, sound, and action.
Obviously, it falls very short, at times, due to it being a cheesy action-SciFi-anime.
The acting is definitely cheesy most of the time. Has plenty of cliche tropey stuff.
Still, some scenes are best described as "****ing majestic." It takes you out of that feel of a "cheesy action-SciFi-anime" and into a "Grade-AAA SciFi Flick." Really, if they could have gotten rid of some of that cheesy stuff and made the film more like the AAA material, it could easily become a legendary film that has admirers for decades like Akira does. Tis a shame: misses greatness by a little.
It feels like the story from Destiny had sex with the Story/Universe from Eve Online. Then that baby had sex with Eiichiro Oda. Then ODA gave birth and that new baby had sex with the Battlestar Galactica universe to make the Harlock: Space Pirate.
I highly recomend everyone that posts in this forum to watch Harlock: Space Pirate. It is on Netflix. I think everyone here has similar enough tastes that they would get at least mild enjoyment out of the movie. 😄

Wait..... What?
No, seriously, you lost me, I never mentioned anything to do with Star wars or it's characters.... Where did all this come about?
