I remember playing Streets of Rage on the Master System, always played as Adam Hunter. I can't recall if I completed it, but I know I got far.

Damn I got so good at tat game I was able to finish it on 1 life on hard. Loved that freakin game. You mean the Megadrive/Genesis?

And yeah the boxer was cool.

Why did it take RJ to make this thread populated?

it seems the same to me...

Nah, it was the Sega Master System that I played it on (below). I hated the Axel character because his jump kick was just pathetic, while Adam had the power moves, was a bit slow but made up for it. Couldn't get anywhere with the female character Blaze.

I especially hated those slider guys and the whip ladies (hope I'm remembering this right), but I loved beating up the military characters and the kung fu kickers were troublesome, but if you timed it right you could get them easily enough.

Damn I never played it on the MS! Just played all 3 games on the Megadrive. Wow. Yeah those whip ladies were bitches.

I don't think ever I played a MG or Genesis, it was always the Master System and then the SNES (still have my SNES). That looks a lot better than the MS version but it's still weird to see it like that, graphics and sound effects are much better.

The game that brought that style of fighting back for me was Tekken 3 and it's Force Mode.

I was one of those weird kids who owned a Master System, Mega Drive, a Game Gear 🙄 , then a DreamCast which ROCKED!. I don't know why I just preferred Segas.
And just like me the only Nintendo I brought was a Game Cube 😂 which I loved.

I remember the Turbo GrafX 16. awermm

Never saw any of those in action.

I've stuck mostly with Nintendo with the SNES then PS1,N64,PS2 and DS being my progression. I really haven't really felt like getting anymore consoles because I do read more than play games. I haven't played on the Xbox so if I did get another console it would probably be PS3.

Still got the SNES,N64,PS2 and DS, with some of the more classic/best games for the SNES.

I've even got Shaq Fu 😆

Ever play Shadowrun? It was on both Megadrive and SNES.

I will always say that those two games are by far the best games that ever existed on both systems.

No, never played that one, these are ones I do have for SNES:

Streetfighter II.
Streetfighter II Turbo.
Mortal Kombat 1, 2 + Ultimate.
Killer Instinct.
Donkey Kong Country 1,2 +3.
Super Mario All Stars (compilation cartridge).
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
Super Mario Kart.
Starwing.
Super Tennis.
International Superstar Soccer.
Batman Returns.
Batman Forever.
Super Star Wars (A New Hope).
Unirally (or Uniracers).
Warpspeed.
Star Trek: Starfleet Academy - Starship Bridge Simulator.
Shaq Fu.
Cybernator.
Warlock.

I've played others of course but that was ages ago and they were played mostly over at my friends house when in my teens. The ones above are the ones I did manage to collect. You still see SNES games around sometimes, in a bargain bin or an outdoor market/car boot sale but they are hard to find, especially the better ones.

Grab an emulator and play Shadowrun on both systems. Or find them on Ebay.

It was a popular Pen and Papar cyberpunk series cept it had a Tolkien style universe merged into it. The modern day failed first person shooter on Xbox360 was a failure due to the fact it wasn't like these two games. Ignore that mess.

Both games have different stories and strengths. But both are underground classics and both have the highest ratings on ROM sites. Istill play one of them to the end once every few years.

Was Star Fleet Academy any good?

I'll look into that, thanks.

Starfleet Academy has a nice feel to it actually, the Starfleet career is the main part of the game obviously, where you do training missions and progress to actual missions involving protecting or attacking enemy ships. You have a sort of main screen showing the academy where you can talk with members of the crew, do training stuff and look into some Star Trek lore - things like ships, races and governments.

The gameplay on the ship itself is based on moving the viewscreen in the centre, with a targeting crosshair in the middle. The cool thing is the options you can bring up like:

Helm - Tactical, Status Control (green, yellow, red), Tractor Beam.

Engineering - Phaser, Photon Torpedoes, Engine, Hull, Shields.

Science Station - Status Report, Radar Range, Sensor Sweep, Computer.

Communication - Hail, Orders.

Navigation - Brings up a map with sectors you can warp to.

Probably the most fun part of the game is the simulator option on the main screen where you can just fight against the computer with various ships from Star Trek. You can also play one scenario from the original series (Balance of Terror) and two movies (Wrath of Khan, Undiscovered Country).

So yeah, it has it's moments, I haven't played it for a while though myself I had to put the game on and brush up on it to remember. 😄

I'm resurrecting old threads that I deem worthy.

Only 62 pages on this thread. I would've guessed more.

Cool. Keep 'em coming.

I have a request regarding a movie I've been looking for.

The movie is about a german boy that is living through second world war in Polen, All I remember from the Title is something along the line "... Fahren du nach Berlin" or something similar. I ask for this film, because I need it in regards to a project I'm doing, but I can't for the love of God find it. So basically if anyone have the title or a idea on where I could find it, that would be a great help.

How old generally was it and what was the general plot?
