Red Hulk vs Thanos

Thanos stomps Rulk into a mindless pulp then adds sugar and has a rulkjam sandwich.

Rulk has a habit of sucker punching people. He punched Uatu and just punched an Elder and killed him. Galactus eye-beamed the sh!t out of him though. Like he was a pesky fly.

but he was still at a 100% even after galactus eye beam. That alone should tell you that thanos couldnt conjure up enough power to down rulk and by the way it was a PISSED galactus that shot rulk.

Didnt thanos have to use his shield from an eye beam from galactus and still almost got killed. HMMMM.

you are comparing the blast that Rulk took compared to the one that went through ALL of Thanos shields.

How about you tell me the difference between each blast since both was a coming from a pissed galactus.

Galactus was more pissed at Thanos, as Thanos had just blasted Galactus through the hull of his ship and a few hundred yards and was attempting to foil his plans of(what Galactus thought) stopping his hunger permanently.As apposed to Rulk being a cocky bastard and stealing a herald power.

Um, wasn`t big G just taking back the surfer`s power with those beams?

HMMM, galactus seemed more pissed than what you're making it out to be due to rulk actions. He did say that he was going to get revenge and kill the grandmaster along with anyone else that was involved in what went on.

Then the thing about this blast is that when it hit rulk it bfred him all the way back to grandmaster, etc.. and created an explosion.

I dont know what proof you have that makes you suggest that the blast he shot at thanos is more powerful then the blast that he shot at rulk.

By the way, wasnt that a hungry galactus that thanos fought? 😕

Not the way it look from my eyes. Rulk was hit pretty hard and galactus was pissed at rulks actions.

Thanos' shields are known for being ridiculously durable. It should be common sense that the eye beam that hit Rulk was less powerful than the one that hit Thanos' shields. Writers don't always go by what they last wrote or what others wrote about that particular character. Rulk was back to normal after a while but Galactus made his point.

oh, IMO

I would give the fighting edge to Thanos and ranged attacks as well. The question is, could Rulk break through Thanos' shields? Thanos did take a beating from Odin if I do recall and was still able to stand...if not barely. So how would this fight go down, I don't see Rulk out thinking Thanos.

Thanos interfering with Galactus' plan and blasting him is one thing, but an insignificant ketchup glob like Rulk wouldn't invoke much anger in Galactus. That was a fly swat eye beam.

That's exactly the point. If Galactus was attempting to kill Rulk, he'd have killed him. Instead, his blast BFR'd him through spacetime (that was a Galactus in the past, so he had to BFR him into the future/current timeline) back to the Grandmaster. The blast to Thanos came after Galactus thought that Thanos was interfering in a plan to wipe out his hunger once and for all, and after Thanos had just blasted him out of his own spaceship and across a moon. Yeah. Galactus was pissed. And he didn't hit him with his eye beams, he hit Thanos with an energy blast that came out of his hand.

No. Galactus had just collected the Infinity Gems and was about to complete a plan that he thought would wipe out his hunger forever, based on the information that his tech told him. But he wasn't weakened. [/B]

Galactus also commented that he had exerted himself quite a bit blasting Thanos.

does anyone know who red hulk was before, he seems to be dropping small hints. Or is it just me?
