"Very well that is what we shall do. Alert me when we are ready."

"Oh, we're ready..." Trax says, drifting off as he enters some coordinates into the navcomp. "...now. Strap yourself in."

Once Xavier is settled, Trax will punch the hyperdrive and the transport will streak off into the calm of hyperspace into the section of space that it coincidentally just came from! Almania and Varloucant are by no means close to Raxus Prime, but they are in the same corner of the Galaxy.

It wasn't too long ago they had visited this part of the Galaxy. Now they have returned.

"Trax take us in."

The stars streak and... zoom, we're off to Raxus Prime!

With Trax having given The New Beginning the extensive examination that it had been needing during its service to the pirates, the engines are about as top notch as they can be. It takes two days to rocket off to Raxus Prime.

When you get there, Trax brings the freighter out of hyperspace over what appears to be a planet covered in rusting metal and toxic clouds that can even be seen from orbit.

"We are here," Trax says.

(Hey Rex does Xavier happen to get any temporary merits for this mission 😛)

"Good now let's finish this as soon as possible."

Almania is preoccupied with political backlash from Senator Wojaine's admission of involvement with the slave trade. Safe to say that they are busy with their own problems.

Trax brings the ship down through the thick acidic clouds of the atmosphere. Mountains of scrap metal rush up to meet you and he maneuvers his way through them, searching for some sign of life on the planet. The sensors pick up activity and guide you to what seems to be a processing/smelting plant.

"As good as any place to start," Trax says. "Yeah?"

"As my Master would say every journey starts with the first step. Hail them and get us a place to land."

Trax has a brief discussion with the comms station at the smelting plant. They tell you to go ahead and set down next to the plant and they will send someone out to you with hazard suits. Fumes from the smelting plant make this the most hazardous area of Raxus, due to all the chemicals in the air.

The hazard suits provided (which are mustard yellow, somewhat bulky, and have thin slats for visors) protect you from the toxic environment and give you one point of armor. They also give you a -1 penalty to combat-related skills, but without it you cannot venture outside.

Xavier puts his on and heads out to meet whoever it is that is meeting them.

The station manager agrees to see you in his office.

He starts off by welcoming you to Raxus Prime and stating that they do not receive many visitors. Then he asks what he can do for you.

Xavier doesn't waste time with pleasantries. "I'm looking for someone. I have reason to believe that they would have recently used this place to fix their ship. His name would have been Friste Tem. The vessel the Ravaging Claw."

"I can't say that I've heard of a ship of that name," the manager says.

"Excuse I am mistaken it would have been called The Trade, and been a rather large vessel."

The station manager insists that he has heard of no such ship visiting here.

Xavier will use sense to get a feel if they are lying or not.

Scan is more the power for that...

He does not seem truthful to you, no. Especially as Trax would not be lying to you about those ships visiting, so you already know that this station manager is full of it.

Do not waste time on this person let's get this over with

"I agree"

"I know that they were here, and I know that you know they were here. So then give me what I want or else."

Xavier is not playing around and uses Grip on the Manager to really get his point across.

The station manager begins to gag as Xavier makes an Intimidation check...

"Alright, alright!" he coughs. "The Claw... it was here... left yesterday...!"

Trax looks concerned.

Xavier releases the hold.

Good

"Good"

Now tell us where they went

"Now tell us where they went."

"I don't know!" the station manager says. "It's none of my concern!"
