And when would consider that a friend a bad friend ...sorta a oxymoron. Okay, what would make you end a friendship.

Do you really know your friends? What makes them change? What are some "red flags."

BTW, I have some really great friends, yet they are old friends...now saying that, when new people come into your life, what makes them trust worthy of you. As we all know people turn on you. These people were your so called friends......hmm

Okay, consider everything I am and then assume that others with out those qualities are friend material.

Someone who is there for you through thick and thin. Someone who knows everything about you and does not judge. Someone who will never abandon you.

Someone who will help you move a couch up three flights of stairs and ask for nothing in return.

Just realistic. I'm a hard person to be friends with. I'm terribly self-centered and I bore easily. I'm just not interested enough to see you through your hard times. But the up side is that I expect the same of others, so I rarely burden anyone else with my issues. I have to be genetically related to you or dating (sleeping with) you to really share my honest emotions.

1: emotional sincerety and loyalty/affection
2: having litttle or no reservations/boundries, around friends, so you dont conastantly have to be on the guard thinking{im gonna cross the line here, or he or she is gonna be offended when you say this or that} basically the sincerity thing,
3: doesnt keep secrets from you
4: helps you out as best as they can in hard situations
5: not self centred
6: always sincerely try to understand things as you see them and not the way they are used to seeing them
7: doesnt ditch or abandon you for personal affairs or BETTER or apprently cooler people

Someone who's always there, through good or bad. Consistency in that is what makes a good friend IMO.
