I say we go bipartisan.

Neither John nor Jow could do movies like this.

THIS is BI-partisanship at its best

(ummmm, moderate adult content warning... [imho nothing worse than stuff in the "hottest women" thread])

lol, the best part of election season...

The Kerry/Bush kissing and romantic animations made me laugh quite heartily

I know he talks a lot about being a former marxist, so I'm not entirely sure.

In the article he calls himself a single issue voter (national defense being the issue) and I've seen him distance himself from Marxism.

At the very least, he spends a good deal of his time denouncing democrats and supporting seemingly republican positions.

You would know this way more than I would, so:

I saw Tom Brokaw on the Daily Show last night (I don't know if it was a repeat, I only caught the interview) and they were talking about the Kerry/Bush race in 04.

Comming up to the election, he said Kerry made a remark where he claimed he felt that he had it in the bag (saying something like "no incumbant who has been trailing by this much, this late in the election has ever won"😉. Later, Brokaw met with Rove and other Republican strategists, who showed him how they had broken down different parts of crucial ridings in swing states etc. Brokaw said he left with the impression that "They just might pull it off".

From everything I see, it really looks like Obama has it, but like, that could totally just be the way the media plays it here (and most sources I use are left leaning). However, how over do you think this is? Obviously its not finished, but what kind of chances do the Republicans have at this point? Would it require another domestic terrorist attack to get the people back, or is it way closer than some politically interested outlets want it to seem?

In my personal opinion, it would take one hell of an October Surprise to win it for McCain. We're less than two weeks out, that's a tall order to come back from as high as an 11.9 deficit in national tracking polls (that's from Zogby).

I'll have new numbers from 538 in a sec, they've updated their model.

New projections as of 10/23:

Electoral College: Obama 354.4 - 183.6
Win Percentage: Obama 96.3% - 3.7%
Popular Vote: Obama 52.2% - 46.4%

Swing states or vote switchers from 2004:
Parenthetical numbers indicate the "win percentage" of the current leader

Colorado: Obama +6.3 (93%)
Florida: Obama +2.8 (77%)
Iowa: Obama +13.7 (100%)
Indiana: Obama +1.6 (68%)
Missouri: Obama +1.7 (69%)
Montana: McCain +3.4 (78%)
Nevada: Obama +2 (71%)
New Hampshire: Obama +7.4 (95%)
New Mexico: Obama +6.7 (94%)
North Carolina: Obama +1.7 (69%)
North Dakota: McCain +2.4 (70%)
Ohio: Obama +3.6 (83%)
Pennsylvania: Obama +10.7 (99%)
Virginia: Obama +6.8 (95%)

Couldnt say "like his kind"..that fourth letter would be too much effort.

Indeed, why use singular words at all when you can explain the same sentiment with an entire sentence?

With this in mind, I will no longer use proper words for colors. I won't say blue from now on, I will say "that color that looks like the sky" and for green I will say "that color that looks like grass and bushes" and for brown I will say "that color that looks like Bardock's vagina".

Actually that's usually white.

Oh, you mean the natural colour...nevermind.

Thank you, your judgement is very much appreciated. I specifically want to thank you for trying to improve my meager skills with your vast and obvious knowledge of the ways of humor.
