I still can't believe Kerry lost 04.

Damn those Reps are good.

There were so many problems with Kerry's ground game, I'm not surprised at all. He wasn't a stellar candidate either.

I thought he was a great candidate.

George Bush didn't win the 2004 election, John Kerry lost it.

Agreed, the Dems played right into the Republican's "Bush is tough; he'll protect you; he'll kick the evil-doers in the ass" nonsense game. Kerry and his Purple Hearts didn't have much of a chance.

Don't know how accurate this is, but Obama is closer to the middle (if only by 3) than McCain. Obama is ranked 11th from the Left, while McCain is ranked 8th from the Right.

What does this tell us (if accurate)? Either way, we get some form of extreme, be it Liberal or Conservative. Seriously, why can't we have a race with a Left-mid and a Right-mid and have them both be the smartest guys in the room.

Kerry tried to sound tough in some ads, he even went as far as "I will hunt down and kill the terrorists".

Didn't work.

Oddly, Bush saying "I don't know where Osama is; I'm not worried about him" and "he's been marginalized" was okay to his supporters. Though I can't remember exactly when Bush said that, it was probably after the '04 election, I'd assume.

Cause that would create some major paradoxons in the debates.

Na, one would still lean Left, while the other Right in their views, there'd just be fewer extremes between them.

Edit: Wait, you're referring to them both being highly intelligent.

I was talking about smartest being a superlative...and...you know...sorry 🙁

No, Kerry pointed him out for it, and he denied it saying "I don't know where he got that from."

Basically, the bigger the lie...

Just had to prove my assumption wrong, didn't you, ****.

It was because I'm angry.

And rebellious.

Well, yeah, but that's not why I proved his assumption wrong.

Well, I think you're reading me wrong. I think he would have made a good president, but he wasn't a good candidate for president. He wasn't exciting, he didn't engage the electorate, he didn't inspire; Kerry voters were more voting against Bush than they were for him.

Basically, Obama is everything that he wasn't.

Even though they have pretty much the same policies.

But yeah, Obama is more charismatic, exciting and black.

Which is why I agreed.

I say we go bipartisan.

Neither John nor Jow could do movies like this.
