Does anybody even think McCain has a chance at winning?

With everyone putting blame on Bush for the countries problems, Obama getting his big black shlong sucked by the Media daily and the massive waves of liberal college hippys bowing down to him..there really is no way the Socialist party could drop the ball this time. This just isnt the Democrats year I guess..maybe 2012..that is of course if the Republicans decide to not send a candidate to the General Election again like they did this year.

John McCain is pretty much the only republican that would have stood a chance of winning. Because he can effectively distance himself from his party and the president.

I think it'll be a much closer election than the media is predicting.

Oh, and KidRock, I'm not blaming Bush for what has happened to this country. He said he would do it, Cheney said he would do it, those faggedy liberal hippies told you he would do it. I blame what's happened on people like you for electing him.

Yep. A couple weeks ago Letterman did a comparison of Obama and McCain that went like:

"Obama: Thinks Bush is a moron.

McCain: pretends he doesn't think Bush is a moron."

Now that was part of a comedy skit, but its true. McCain's been distancing himself from Bush as much as he can, and when hippies say "A third Bush term" about him, I think that's bullshit by a bunch of 20-year-old college kids who don't know a damn thing about him. It's also really unfair; McCain and Bush are completely different ballgames.

Not only is McCain a million times more intelligent, I honestly think he cares more about the individual well-being of the average American working man than Bush does.

Whether McCain is a third bush term is up for debate. But the fact is it's a perfectly fair attack on him, one that the democrats would be stupid NOT to make. All it is is simply basing it on his factual voting record of the last two years. Voting with Bush 90% last year and 100% this year. That's not BS, that's unarguable fact. Whether that means he's actually Bush or even similar to Bush, though, who knows.

As I've said, even though I'm not voting for him McCain would be a massive improvement over Bush. At best he'd be that mythical maverick I keep hearing about but not seeing, at worst he'd follow the Bush policies while being much smarter and more effective.

I actually didnt vote last election so I had no say in how this country was run or what happened to it. So stick that in your pipe and smoke it cheech.

edit: The thing that is going to interest me the most come election day is whether or not the pot smoking college liberals and minorities will actually remember its election day or actually decide to get off their asses and vote for once.

Yeah, cause minorities are lazy and stupid. Good one.

You didn't have to vote. I said people "like" you.

If they actually remember or actually get off their asses, what's the difference?

I like how you think pot makes people stupid but beer makes them smart.

Umm..a bunch of votes..you know, the things that are needed to win an election?

Nice sarcasm Adolf.

They have a record of being least likely to vote and are some of Obamas biggest supporters.

Just stop. I don't care what reputation I have around here, even I know, you're gonna lose this debate, dramatically.

You stop. He's right. Minorities don't vote as much, per capita compared to other voting groups.

However, it's possible that Obama will cause record numbers of minority voters this time around.

Kidrock, the beer comment was simply a joke about your persona. You know, the beer drinkin', fishin', boot scootin' boogie-in', huntin', manly man, redneck. No matter how much I look like a guido, I'll still be considered the same as you when jokes are made. 🙁

Black guys also have a record of not being the presidential nominee of a major party.

I think previous conventional wisdom should be taken with a grain of salt this year, it's likely everything will be turned onto its head this year. Young people will likely come out and vote like they never have before, minorities as well, particularly black people. Just like they did during the primaries.

And that makes calling them lazy and stupid legit? Or calling Bardock Adolf a good comeback?

No. Isn't that part obvious? Isn't it also obvious that he'll never stop that kind of stuff? It's a waste of your words.

You're a nice guy in real life anyway, remember?

You're so very smart and wise. 😄 *high fives*

If you're against what he said, why did you say he was right?

Hence the reason I said..

It interests me to see whether or not the conventional wisdom will be broken this year.

I hate having to repeat things 🙁

You implied it. You've spent a long time calling liberals lazy pot smoking hippies, even asking the question if they'll be able to remember it's election day because they're stoned. Do you not drink beer?

That's odd, since you didn't have to repeat that, I read it, it didn't actually have to do with what I said, hence why it wasn't quoted. You mentioned their record, I simply responded to that saying that the record doesn't really mean anything this year and responded with me simply saying that I do think conventional wisdom won't be repeated this year. It wasn't a retort or me disagreeing with you, I was simply giving my opinion on the topic that you brought up.

So repeat yourself again, since you clearly love it.

Lmao I implied it. Quote where I said it or stfu.
