BUt if they did all of that then Batman wouldn't be born, lol

Dude, it is what it is. Just accept it.

I agree with willofthewisp, in that "No one is that perfect, that calm." in reference to Thomas Wayne getting mugged and subsequently murdered in Begins. That's the only thing that bugged me about the scene.

But hey, no mugging / murdering = no Batman.

I have long accepted it, I just wanted to point out how odd it was and show that it was indeed on my mind. I know I'm not the only one to have thought about it.

Fair play.

In this day and age, with cinemas and what not, they should have showed the Wayne family leaving a cinema after having watched a film. Bruce should be in good spirits as he is seeing a movie with his folks; a rare treat considering how busy they are with their work.

They have given Alfred the night off. As such, they decide to take a short cut back to where their car is parked. All of a sudden a mugger emerges from the shadows and takes away everything that is near and dear to Bruce.

This is how I remember it from the comics. Perhaps Begins should have done the same...Rather than making Bruce already scared when the left the opera...
