The idea was that Rulk never actually picked it up. Besides, maybe Rulk is worthy of the hammer.

i doubt it but i'd figure that thor would have atleast not just stood there getting lifted to space.

Thor brings up the point that since Odin is no longer around his enchantment may have changed/disappeared.

It's still stupid though.

Worthy as in Hero worthy?

No worthy as in "make the Odinforce his bitoch" worthy.

You could always beat the crap outta Loeb! if you can find him.

Blow up his hometown of Stamford, Conn. That should get him for sure! 😄

I guess is plausible. He never really picked it up. He basically pulled from it while in Thors hand. Im curious to see how Samson got like that, if it is Samson as it is being implied.

Yeah ... but then Joe Quesada would make all comic fans register, which would cause Stan Lee to fight against his tyranical bullshit, recruiting all the indie comic writers to his side ... it would become a whole "thing".

It's the Scarlet Witch Hulk, or "Scrulk"

NO MORE LOGIC!

It's like I could lift Mjolnir if I say I'm moving my arm around with my hand gripped on its handle.

I do hope it's because Odin's gone. Thor should break out Gungnir.

yeah you cant "Pick it up" if its already off the ground. its the same way that juggy sent it careening back towards him using momentum. also, just like Natasha and Steel's hammers in DC, the more plausile explantion is that its linked to the Earths magnetic field rather than you know......magic😱

so him manhandling it in Zero grav i dont find out of the ordinary, especially since they were still advancing upwards while they were still talking and he said wait have to hold my breath now, then afterwards it was silence and ass kicking

It can't be that though. Odin has been dead for a while and the enchantment has held up until now ... it's Scrulk I tellsya!

That would be incredibly lame though. With a loophole like that who needs enemies? Anyone with moderately enhanced strength could take the hammer by pulling up at it while stomping down the ground beneath it. Anyone with the right tools could take it by holding it in place with something then digging at the ground beneath it. And anybody could just take it out of his holster.

The instance with Juggernaut, was that an older comic? If so, you may be thinking of the time Juggernaut rode the hammer back because he knew it would return to Thor's hand. When it comes to getting tow trucked by a hammer, Juggernaut was doin' it right.

And if it was linked to Earth's magnetic field, wouldn't something have happened in Earth's magnetic field?

It's just like a slap in the face. I get in on a Thor series on the ground floor and see him becoming this greater thing then he gets his brains revoked so he can be used by a character a 5 year old made up.

all true but iirc didnt magneto once capitalize on that loop hole...meaning he used magentism to levitate the hammer? or as I believe negate the "earth's magentic effect"😄..or maybe not

It's strange how the enchantment didn't disappear the last times Odin died.

Guess they don't count.

If anything, I think the loophole in that scenario was he wasn't touching the hammer, it was all manipulating outside forces.

The Hulk did die...as soon as Loeb started writing for him.
