Zack and Miri Make a Porno

Caught an afternoon showing........pretty funny stuff. Good Kevin Smith flick. I'm curious as to how his next flick will turn out. I think its called "Red State"? Should be interesting to see Smith and his take on the horror genre.

Just bought the DVD.

Fan-f*cking-tastic movie. I laughed out loud numerous times. Especially the "pull out" part. I almost gagged while laughing so hard. The surprise Jason Mewes moment was expected, since it was leaked onto the web as a spoiler, but I still enjoyed the hell out of the "Dutch Rudder" scene.

lol yeah, the dutch rudder scene was funny.

Seriously! That's why his stuff is so underrated. Maybe it's on purpose. He makes enough money to make a bit of a profit but only caters to his core crowd.

Still have yet to see this, but plan on checking out the DVD as the entire cast pretty much always has me laughing, especially Rogen.

i find it disgusting that this movie's title was so heavily censored. Not only were most of the movie posters forced to remove "make a porno" from the title but most commercial distribution outlets have removed "make a porno" from the title as well.

The people in this country make me want to contract the aids virus and then go vomit on babies. I'm surprised this hasn't gotten any attention. It's a goddamn word people, not a dirty word, not a curse word.

Agreed, people are so sensitive about every little thing. It's a damn comedy, it's not like they are trying to put an actual porno in theaters or some shit like that.

Didn't you hear? "Sex" is okay to put in the title (i.e. Sex Drive) but not "porno." 🙄

I loved Zack and Miri. I blindbought it and felt this is the best DVD purchase I have made in a while.

This is the second movie by Smith to be out of the "View Askew-niverse". And, yes, he fought hard with the MPAA to get an "R" rating. That just means that the unrated DVD will by that much juicier.

Zack and Miri, while not a View Askewniverse movie, was pretty damn close to being one. It could possibly even be one, only Jay and Silent Bob weren't in it.

i know.. they have maury povich and jerry springer on daytime tv showing promiscuous teens f*cking everything that walks, mothers sleeping with their daughters husbands and siblings that sleep with each other. not to mention the words ass and ***** fly freely on prime time tv. all the while, the censors get bent out of shape when they hear "leave your ass for a white girl" on the radio.

Funny movie - especially the shitting on the face scene! - but the ending was a pile of shit.

Yeah. The actor's name is Jason Mewes, who plays Jay in Smith's other films/Lester in Zack and Miri.

That's my man. He'd get my vote for one of the funniest guys in movies. It's the way he says stuff.

Agreed. He has a unique/hilarious way of delivering his lines; good stuff.

Mewes was surprisingly good in, The Tripper.

I still haven't seen this movie, but I think it looks funny. I definitely plan on renting it when it comes out on DVD.
