Not really, no, all BFRing SMP did was amp him to a level of power he had never been before.

And SUPERMAN didn't win, SMP threw Powergirl into him, knocking him back, which was an epic fail.

Superman was just strong enough to do no damage to SMP.

That particular fight wasn't really a Superman book. He was there, but only as a stand-in during epic fights. GLs took the show.

I also like Spiderman. Haven't been reading his recent stuff though, what with it taking a dump on his entire backstory from what I hear.
