Shang Tsung is more versatile when it comes to his combat style due to his experience and his sheer number of styles, he is Liu Lame level. Why should Lame not be preoccupied?

Don't try to use me as an excuse for someone elses actions. You both got so much hatred for a character that you can't stand for someone to disagree with you, that's your problems, not mine. Look, I know what Smash's getting at, but it's not entirely that simple.
Liu probably felt out Shang's presence before turning around. "Familiar presence of an old enemy" happens all the time... But having that feeling and being fully aware of Shang are too different things, this reaction only proves Liu's quick reaction time when noticing things.
However, I don't beleive he ever even detected Quan Chi, or if he did, he was too distracted by Shang to notice Quan Chi's attack, either way Liu got himself blindsided, which is what made the flying skull attack from Quan Chi so devastating, Liu wasn't ready for it. Thus, while stunned, Shang was able to snap Liu's neck like a cork.

It would be in a different case. This is over now. You've failed at proving any PIS. This was a well planned attack and it could've been over quicker if Shang had attacked while in KL form. Lame got blindsided & the DA used the opportunity to do MK a favor. End of story. What's done is done. No point in complaining any further because @the end of the day, Lame came back from the grave 🙁

I said it was PIS to me and gave my reasons why, while all you did was express your hatred for your case, so don't even go there.
