Monroe.

My monroe piercing that I just got done the Thursday before this past one (and redone Saturday), something's wrong with it and I don't know what to do about it because the piercing parlors aren't really open on Sundays. The skin in my mouth is starting to grow around and onto the base (small disc looking metal piece on the inside of my mouth that the ball of the piercing screws into) of my piercing and if I don't get it taken care of soon I will have to get it surgically removed and...I'm low on funds and...who wants to do that shit anyway? It hurts like a mother****er.

I do NOT want to have to remove this piercing, I love it to death. I love the way it looks.

Take it out. According to my sister, the skin is trying to grow to cover a wound (it happened to her). If you don't take it out now, it will hurt a lot more in the future.

You can always get it re-pierced, you never know, they may do it for free the second time.

I really wouldn't advise keeping it in, skin in your mouth heals remarkably fast and it's going to really hurt when it comes to it, if you leave it. Worst case scenario could also result in septicemia.
