Yes it would since you still have the ability to beat that person and could go 5/5 split. Hell captain marvel is faster then wonder woman but when they fight it end up in a stalemate. Just look at kingdom come, superman was flying his fastest to save the jla but captain marvel caught up with him and blitzed him.

BTW if you actually read the Wonder Woman fight he tells Brother Eye to record it, it was Brother Eye that was tracking it and showing it to Max Lord. Brother Eye is a super-intelligent computer that created the OMACs and even took over Apokolips - of course he could track that FTL fight.
Your problem is that you rely on fallible character dialogue instead of actual events. If someone says something, but something completely different happens, what should you believe? The latter, obviously.
Also, "combat speed" is simply movement speed combined with reaction speed. I've posted scans of Superman moving at reacting at lightspeed, so even if you ignore the WW fight where he was confirmed fighting at FTL, he still has that combat speed since he has demonstrated both that movement and reaction speed.
Hell, when he raced the Flash around the world, avoiding all of the buildings and obstacles in the way, he was reacting too, so that proves he can fight at that speed.
I propose a challenge to you:
Prove Goku can move or react at even 1% of lightspeed.
Things to keep in mind:
1. You have to post scans to back up your claims
2. You have to quantify your evidence with actual math
3. Teleportation doesn't count.
If you fail to meet this challenge, then I'll accept your concession.
