Why would I want more?
Everybody was seated. That would do for now, Derek thought. Confident he spoke.
''Dear teachers, and other staff members, I greet you welcome personnally, as another year in our beloved school is about to start. Many of you know me, as I know you. This is my final year at Hero High, and I want it to be a year to remember... but not of all kinds of rememberances.''
Derek stopped, getting used to the change of ambiance in the room.
''For I have not brought you here only for pleasure talks. No, I have news, disturbing in some ways. News that some of you might be aware of. It is heard of a certain Guild, created outside of the school's perimeter. It has no relation with its system, our principle not even knowing, I will assume, the location of such an assembly. Nor the dangers that could lurk inside of it.''
This was the part he had been thinking all day. The words he would say next, as twisted as may be, would ensure his plan would work properly.
''Yes, I say danger. Why did they push themselves from this school's authority? To protect the school? Surely not, why would they leave you then? For power? Assurely. For a title, most probably. Combine all three of these elements, and it gives something that we should not be reassured of. For whatever meaning or purpose this guild has created, it went against the school's view of peace, creating division amongst gifted students.''
Derek could sense the attention of all. He had them.
''As you may know, the Guild is a regroupement of powerful yet uunstable students, who got rejected or didn't fit here. Many could hold a grudge against someone here. And what would it take for them to acquire revenge, outside of the security this school provide. Let us face it, I am not against group formations that are beenficial for us. But what the Guild is doing, is dangerous and should be put to a stop right away, before it gets out of hand''.
Nods of approbation. Derek was ready to finish what he had started.
''I, including some people with great concern, and trustworthy, would like to investigate this Guild, and ultimately bring it to a stop. It is my last year, if I could stop this nuisance that will surely destroy us in time, then I will be honored to do such. I assure you I will try and save as much of them as possible, and hopefully, no one would get hurt. But I must ask for a safety net. Should I be in great trouble, to use my powers as a defence mechanism.''
He paused, and took a breath.
''We will dispatch this Guild before they have time to create more trouble. Allready, some staff members were corrupted by it. Many knew Vash as one of the best guard this school ever had. I know know he has left his position and joined with the Guild. I say, no more division! No more insanity! No more murder!''
With that, the teacher applaud Derek, who was filled with a sentiment of success.
