HERO HIGH 2 - The Mystery

Ricardo gave Skiv an obvious signal to stop as he stops looking at how uneasy Derek seemed to be as he looks into the forest. With the use of Mind reading, he understood that he was going to need help. To show a bit of loyalty, he was going to help him out with whatever is about to come. Them three together as promised.

Derek gave up after the attempts or the two.

''Allright then, but keep a safe distance, and do not intervene. Whatever this is, it's not human.''

Derek dropped his temporal distortion bubble, making all three of them visible in the earth's normal referential.

''And especially, do not show your powers whatsoever. We do not know what could happen''.

Ricardo nodded and turns to Skiv.

Skiv dropped on his hands and knees and began to painfully morph his body. At the end of the trasformation he had become the 12 foot muscular threee headed heelhound Cereberrus. All three heads then roared, and took a deep breather spewing flames as they exhaled.

"Let whatever it is come, i'm not afraid." The middle head was the one that did the talking

(Do note that she is 7'3" tall 😛)

Jinx held her robe together from the inside as she walked down the path. The three people she had heard from earlier did indeed stand not far from her now, so assumingly was the school in that direction. It occured to her then that she had no idea what Derek looked like, nor anything else about him. As she came closer to the three, she decided that perhaps she could ask for directions. She halted in her steps when she was close enough to be in hearing, and she extended one of her hands out of her robe with a gesture indicating them to stop.

"Fascinating. Well Billy, I am not quite sure how to look at this scenario. Have you had any emotional changes lately? Have you had any illnesses? Has anything out of the ordinary happened before, during or after this increasement started taking place?"

"Umm..." Billy took a second to think. This started about midway through the summer. Nothing really changed for him. He has been as healthy as an ox and dealing with emotions he's been the same bad boy as he always been. His outburst of his power started right after he turned sixteen and yet nothing really changed. "I can't say anything happened between now and then."

Ricardo stood his ground, reading the mind of Jinx and then nodded.

Ricardo: "Skiv, hold on! stop!"

Skiv now in his giant Cereberus form looked down at the person

"Who are you and state your buisness" The middle head said in a deep dark raspy voice

Derek was curious. She was not coming from the school, but from the other direction.

''Wait, Skiv, change back. There's no need for such hostilities at the moment.''

Derek approached the forest.

''What is it you want with us?''

Skiv's right head looked down at Derek, then back at the person

"I'll stay this way for now, cuz i dont trust this stranger, but i'll hear them out"

Derek smiled.

''Fair enough''.

He was getting closer and closer to that thing in the woods.

''Have you not heard us. What is your buisness here?''

She remained silent for quite a while, watching the three.

"I seek Hero High, and Derek Absolum more specificly. Could you perhaps point me in the direction of the school, and grant possible clues of mr. Absolum's whereabouts?"

Jinx kept her cool, despite the cerberus attempt to whatever he was attempting. She had seen worse in her life, so it didnt even as much as heighten the rate of her pulse. She kept her eyes focused on the three proportionally timed to not 'favor' one over the other.

"Well, I can't quite think of anything at the moment that could be the cause of this current. Would you happen to know if perhaps Elton John is suffering the same symptoms? I do recall the two of you having the same mysticism power source"

Skiv ran up to the stranger and walked a quick circle around them, then with all three heads began to sniff the person.

"It smells of a woman, some type of mutant i think"

Derek sighted.

''There is indeed a Derek Absolum attending this school. You should find him there. What is, if I might ask, your buisness with him?''.

Derek could feel, under her cool, a troubled mind. And he would not let a troubled mind get the best of him.

Ricardo continued his mind reading towards the figure who has just approached them. He began to understand this thing much more than they have that he did not have the need to say anything nor react in any sort of way. She just had questions to ask.

"I wish of Derek Absolum, to rip his heart out. Do you perhaps have a physical description?"

Jinx then followed the movement of the cerberus circling her, sniffing her. She couldnt exactly call him perceptive. Female, yes, but even her voice could tell them that. Mutant? Far from it. It was even insulting her to hear herself being called such a thing. She was pure blood.

"No; Elton has complete control over his," Joel answered. Elton always seemed to have better control over celestial. Of course he is two years older then Joel was. It was strange to Billy that this started to happen. He looked over at Miss Keys and just thought for a second; nothing like this ever happened and he slowly became tensed from this little meeting.

Ricardo shook at his head at Skiv's ignorance towards someone she has no clue of. The possibilities were unknown, yet he decides to jump to conclusions.

Ricardo: "that's enough Skiv...."

Skiv then stoped directly infront of her, with every exhale spewing smoke and the smell of brimstone in her face. He then let out a low growl

"And why would you want to do that"

Derek laughed.

''Well, what kind of student would I be if I gave you the directions to go and kill one my kind. If that is what you wish, then I cannot help you.''

He looked attentively. No, she was no mutant... something more.

''You look tired. And troubled. It will be of my pleasures to welcome you in my lab. No one else will know, if you wish to keep secrecy of your visit, as I'm persuaded you are. Perhaps I could help you to reach your goals, without actually telling you where he is. For it is true that he is dark and twisted. Maybe it would be better here without him.''

Arrinving at her level, he tended his hand.

''Just hold on to this and we will move to a safer place.''

Looking at Skiv, he signale for him to do the same with Ricardo and teleport to his office.
