Delph's League of Champions Draft Thread

what bloodline book? GL annual, right? i prolly have that book hanging around and could look for myself. if he has to physically reset damage, that MIGHT be a point in your favor . . .

regardless, at this point i'm willing to let him pass, but with the same stip as spawn--if he does some crazy-uber thing in a match, we'll reserve the right to request a ban or up his cost on the spot. is that fair enough? anyone else have a problem with that? i know we'd like these things sorted out BEFORE issues are raised, but if in fact no issues ARE raised, then, well, all this is really for nothing. 😬

That is fine with me. I do need to know if LeVi is in or out. So i can post her replacement.

Meh... Hopefully the decider can take over when the judges don't pay attention

Where did Nightblade appear in Superman/Batman #33? He appeared on the cover, but far as I can tell not inside the issue.

why are covers so often misleading?? (yeah, yeah, i KNOW why. just pisses me off sometimes . . .)

as for levi--the ability to become atomic or sub-atomic size leads to indefensibility at this level, hence my problem with it. personally, i'd call her a loophole character. i should know--i brought her up to scoob and for the exact reason i mentioned i relented, figuring she would be above caps or considered a loophole.

but, if no one else expresses concern, i'll drop it.

unfortunately, the decider doesn't know EVERYTHING. more opinions would certainly help, otherwise, like the rest of us, he's gonna have to go on trust. which, really, should NOT be the large issue it sometimes becomes . . .

Delph doesn't know everything, but he acts like he does, and you, leo, are the only one ruining the illusion.

Besides, going by what fangirl's already admitted, nightface should be LM.

And anybody that can shrink to subatomic can avoid all attacks, bypass nearly all defenses and get as upclose to attack as possible... It's worse than intangibility. Then throw in the capacity to grow as well, and the character is basically Vision, only better.

IMO, of course

He's Low Meta.. It's obvious. Only fangirl refuses to admit it.

And did we EVER get a shrinking limit for the other one? We've asked about 3 times. Atomic = well beyond any meta level. Also simple as hell, yet he keeps trying to get away with it.

no. i don't think so. not low meta. he has to physically reset his heals. not at all like wolverine or deadpool. And please don't forget that there are several telepaths and computer guys in this battle. sub atomic means nothing to a telepath.

I'd actually disagree, but I'm not going to give you arguments. Not that you have one right now... If kryptonite is superman's only weakness, and Metallo is high meta (which I do believe he is), can I draft Supes into mid meta?

As delph told me, a weakness does not a weak character make. Or something like that.

I would argue so many ways to beat someone when thier only power is to shrink. But I'm not going to give you any arguments.

To shatter it completely:

I don't know everything.

There, I admit it.

you really don't . . .?

i was only kidding . . . shock

I used to pee the bed too...

...til I was 11.

um, can we get a new decider . . .? anyone?

And I cried the first time I saw An American Tail...

...Fievel's singing really gets to me.

😐

mods, can we get a vote on a ban here? seriously.

Ok, jokes aside:

It's Deciderin' Time:

I've had some time to think this situation over (while watching Shoot Em Up), and at this tier, though the growing/shinking ability was not discussed in the rules, it was a loophole that we overlooked. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. For the High Meta tier the ability to shrink to subatomic size is officially banned (but will likely be lifted in a later season [Mid Herald +]), similar to the speed cap and mind control prohibition. You can keep Violet if you wish but that ability (shinking sub atomic) is not available to you or anyone else.

I'll amend the rules accordingly.

well what's the smallest she can shrink to?
