Its anarchy over their. Total Anarchy I tells you.

Tourneys are the only live part over here.

I'm going to have to agree that Trick shouldn't be in this tourney. I know he doesn't like me, I know he doesn't like a lot of people in this tourney, and I simply cannot trust him to vote objectively.

That And..... White Phoenix of the Crown topics regarding New X-Men issues 151-154. It dosn't matter who its against, or who wins the match. It comes down to ones interpretation of HCT.

Yup, everything else was painstakingly typed in front of a live studio audience.

I says to myself. Why so serious? first serious indication of malicious intent, and we will get’em by the balls. In the mean time, sit back, chillax, and flunt your e-penises..err egos.

Unless calling out on characters, and potentially judges is part of the game?

Reposting for relevance, but the first paragraph below answers your question. It's not hard to sound reasonable. It's quite another to remove bias. Trick has never shown he's able to do that, yet we will have no way of knowing whether or not it is present in his judging. But given his history, the safest guess is that it is, which is unfortunate, especially when we already have enough judges and don't need to jeopardize the judging just to have him aboard.

Anyway, if you haven't read the post below (anyone) please do. Smurph has co-signed it. I find it hard to believe that the reasonable objections from upstanding members are ignored over Trick, who hasn't even apologized or defended himself, except to pass the blame to others. ill has yet to provide any evidence for Trick's reformation, nor a reason beyond giving him a 2nd chance, which I critique below.

See, it's easy to make a timely vote as a judge that sounds intelligent. I have no doubt he'll do that. But issuing votes and removing bias are very different things. I'm confident he'll perform the former admirably, but equally as confident that he is incapable of performing the latter to a sufficient degree that he should be allowed to judge.

ill wants to give him a second chance. Let's first be honest and call it what it is: more like a 4th-5th chance. And just last night he related to us how he worked to screw over Smurph in the last tourney, justifying it only by saying that Smurph deserved it. Nothing has changed, he's not reformed.

But beyond that, it's putting the tourney and its participants at risk. If giving trick another chance didn't affect so many others, I'd be all for it. But it's not.

It's the wrong decision ill. If you were at the receiving end of any of Trick's idiocy, you'd be voting against him too. As it is, you're the host, so there's nothing he can do to screw you over. Us? There's plenty. And you're ignoring the will of half your tournament participants/judges in order to put your foot down for someone who shouldn't be jeopardizing the integrity of your tournament. I guess democracy is only in affect when it suits your will.

🙄

It should also be noted that Trick couldn't be bothered to show up to half of the matches he was to Judge in ill's first tourney.

Have you voted on it yet, Kandy?

Yes. I'm voting against Trick judging. Sign me up.

Well the thing is, I am not running the tournament, your not running the tournament. And the tournament holder just said; dropped it I will deal with it when it becomes a problem. Hey he is the boss 😕

That doesn't mean we're obligated to shut up as soon as ill decrees it.

😬

He never gave us a valid reason...he just made the decision. To me, that's shoddy as hell. The post I quoted above details exactly why I think so, and I consider it to be very valid, especially when it's not just me but more than half the participants that object to his judging.

Also, 10 against. That's a majority. To not ban him at this point would be a spit in the face.

Then we should have a majority...

Since the majority has voted him out, Trickster is officially removed from judging (per majority vote).

I cant say I agree, you said your peace. Everyone is aware of Tricks history, I would like to think that the tournament holder (in this case Ill) has some form of control, or say on what’s what.

But hey thats just my two cents, I am going back to work on preptime #5

I said my peace, and I also explained how in my previous tourney Trickster was actually one of my only dependable judges (along with Jason). However, I am running this democratically as I had my previous league, contrary to the opinion of some, and I am a person of integrity and keep my word.

Wish I didn't have to be so adamant in my pursuit of the ban. But it's the right decision. He's a poison to tourneys.

Thanks ill. I know it's not easy for you, and it goes against what you wanted to do, but you did your tourney a favor today, as well as all the participants. You have my thanks.

😱 😆

Democracy prevails.

Yay.

Like I said before, we've had few tourney runners that have been as competent, thorough, fair and level decision makers as Delph has been.

This was tough, but it was right.
