{edit} ...i also realized the psychotically illegal implications of me being drunk as a chess adviser. I take back everything.😂
We had 8 votes, a few too low for ill to make a ruling on it.
Well? Did he? 😱

I already stated why I voted against him, didn't I?Trick has always had a tendency to try to be integral to the tourney as long as it suits him.
Evangel's, he entered, intending to pwn, and partway through decided to throw the whole thing.
Red's tourney speaks for itself. Ruined two participants chances of success.
Delph's first tourney, sure he was a decent judge... but only after he couldn't be bothered to actually put together a write up, and, after a week, lost.
There was the tourney where he led a mutiny because he wanted things run differently, which led to a crash of the whole tourney.
Red/NJ's last tourney, he went out of his way to inform a competitor of mine on every method he conceived would beat my team. Not that I harbor grudges (it had no bearing on me being the runner up of the tourney), but I think that Trick's shown a consistent lack of respect for his commitments and tourneys in general.
I don't want to kick him out because he didn't show up as a participant. I want to kick him out because he ruined any chance of success for two different people, and didn't give two shits about it.
I want to vote him out because he repeatedly acts as if a tourney is not affecting multiple people, but just him, and thus should wait until he feels like actually doing whatever he signed up for.
It's not about how he acts as a participant, but how he acts as someone whose actions affect the entire tourney.
We all know that a lack of judges crashed Delph's last tourney, and I know Trick's showed personal grudges against participants in this tourney in the past, and I know he's tried to ruin tourney matches over his grudges in the past. First hand.
Smurph, in this instance, speaks for me. And apparently at least in part for others as well, as is evidenced by the 8 votes for it (and 2 against, to be fair).

"Accusations" might not be the right word. Those are when you can't confirm someone's involvement in something. All of those things actually happened, not speculative guesses, and are the reason(s) why many of us think Trick isn't fit to be a judge.
Do I think he can be a good judge? Sure, he probably can. But do I want to take that risk, with myself or the other participants, knowing he has actively held grudges in the past and let it affect his tourney behavior? Hell no.
ill wants a majority, which is reasonable. We're about 2 away, if I'm remembering judge and participant totals correctly.

"sighs" I really hate to do this. But I must vote against him being a judge, if what you say is true and only if he did all of these things.
You're welcome to go read the discussion surrounding it....it starts on circa page 36 of the tourney discussion thread. In the meantime, I'll dig up the for/against list and update it, but you're more than welcome to change your vote, keep it, or remove it altogether if your opinion changes.

I think Digi's an unbelievable **** and the worst mod ever. Also flamboyantly gay.

I'm voting to keep him from judging, loathed as I am, merely becuz smurph is not very nice to me and trusting his words is like chewing chalk but, the truth is the truth.
