Hawkman vs Colossus

seems interesting. organic steel v nth metal. which gives? 🙂

Colossus is stronger, more durable. Carter's a better fighter. It's not a 10/10 scenario either way. I'd give Hawky the slight majority though. Enough hits with the mace would floor Colossus, and his healing makes up somewhat for the lack in durability.

How much can Hawkman carry? Cause in theory he could just fly around and drop stuff on Colossus.

Drop stuff? Not really a viable tactic for taking out someone who is physically superior to you. Carter's a close-range brawler, even with those out of his league. He can employ flight, but won't be doing many ranged attacks.

Haha. That has about as much a chance at working as does Colossus' tactic of chunking stuff at the airborne Carter.

Not really as a flier he is more agile and more likely to dodge.

Aye but not if he's carrying something heavy enough to maybe hurt big C

I would still say he'd have an slightly easier time to dodge then Colossus.

All he needs is to grab Carter and break him and for Hawkman to attack he has to get close.
I know that Piotr has tagged Quicksilver before so I don't see why he can't grab Carter at some point.

But I can also see Carter winning through some kind of hit and fly strategy (his Thanagarian weapons pack a lot of damage)

I still say Piotr 7.5/10

If Hawkman has the claw then Hawkman 10/10 but I think we're talking standard gear.

Don't get me wrong I love Hawkman and Johns run was top plus his most recent appearances are all great (featwise) like Trinity and JSA.

I'm not saying he can't win I'm just saying that Piotr has the edge due to the fact that Hawkman has to get close in a fight and although he flies fast he is not a speedster and thus Colossus can tag him and take him down...

Don't the hawks control the level of gravity and anti gravity of thier nth metals? I would just drop my Nth Metal on colossus from far with some crazy weight on it. the force plus the actual metal should at least KO colossus.
