To be fair; apparently all she basically did was commit to the Article V obligations of the NATO charter. In theory, Obama, McCain and Biden would all presumably give a similar answer.
On the Bush Doctrine, it seems that no one seems to know exactly what the Bush Doctrine is.
From the excerpts I've seen so far, I would give her a low PASS mark; she seems to be holding her own against what could and presumably will be perceived by the Republicans and the poor unwashed masses they now claim to represent hostile "gotcha" interviewing. But she's not performing brilliantly.
And all this she's a religious nut talk seems rather counterproductive. Most Americans are relatively religious and nutty. Attacking her on substantive issues is more likely to have an effect.

I respect this post.
I know that you don't support her and would prefer the other ticket, but thank you for giving both good criticism of the candidate while brushing off nonsense arguments that lead nowhere.
Personally, I think that in a debate on the issues and policies, people wil favor McCain/Palin, but of course I'm biased. 😛
Again "woman who would war with Russia" is misleading. All the candidates support the accession of Ukraine and Georgia into NATO. All the candidates would have to express openness to the possibility of providing military support should a NATO member be attacked; or they'd essentially be reneging on NATO. Her answer was simply less nuanced than a veteran pol would give.
It's probably of greater note that she said Russia's recent incursion was "unprovoked", when most foreign policy experts apparently consider Georgia to have "provoked" Russia, via it's own military action in South Ossetia.
I've voting Obama.......even if I I weren't, I would not vote for McCain/Palin.
I don't agree with McCain's views, hell, I probably don't agree with the views of many geezers in their 70s. Even if I did, Palin would kill the ticket for me. McCain already has health issues and is extremely old. He could kick at any time. I wouldn't vote for him soley based on the way he is being so irresponsible with our government. It isn't a joke, it isn't about showmanship. In the incredibly likely event that he dies in office, he should not be handing the reigns of a world super power over to a 2 year governor of Alaska. A person responsible for governing mostlly Carribou, Moose and a few people. Her previous experience? Mayor of a town of 9,000 people. Jesus christ.....my high school principal governed that many people.
It's my own personal belief we should put a maximum age restriction on all people running for political office of any kind. As people get old, they are no longer representatives of a society as they grew up in a completely different society. When McCain was growing up, his society deemed segregation perfectly fine. He was taught n-gger was just another word for black folks. While he may have changed with the times, the society he was raised in no longer resembles the society he wishes to represent today.
ps. got to love the way Palin sticks to her guns. In her own state of Alaska she lobbied for abstinence only sex education in schools. Her views led to her own teenage daughter being pregnant. Now that she is, she's being forced to marry the guy who knocked her up. Shotgun weddings........Palin will return this country to it's former greatness, by former greatness I mean the 1950s.
that should be McCain/Palin's motto. remember the 1950s? we're bringing it back.

False. She favors contraception taught along with abstinence. A fair stance, by most peoples view.
I respect your right not to agree with her, but really...why are all these distortions purported as "fact"?
It's like teaching the idea that the Sun revovles around the Earth with the currently accepted theory.

I'm not, being a moron would be wasting money by funding abstinence programmes.
Anyways, don't knee-jerk into everything, take a minute to think then form a well thought out opinion.

So, you're just going to ignore my wasting money point?
How much extra do you think it would cost to have a gym teacher (or whoever runs the class) say "Oh yeah, and if you don't have sex you're not at risk for any of this." along with the current programs? (hint: sex-ed techers do that already)

But I'll bite and say it costs maybe 70c.
