USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

Started by Craft224 pages

Ah, fair enough. Just a move to cover then.

The two of you leap into cover behind the tank! You can exhange a 'what have we got into here?' glance if you wish. The droids last away furitlessly and reduce the tank to one point of cover, before one of the enemy tanks fires at you and blows the cover away entirely. The other two tanks are turning their attention towards the Selenians, and this is causing trouble...

Xeth- no, only one target. Still, the rolls continue to go your way; you take another two hits.

"We can't do anything while those tanks are still around!"
I'm not sure how much I could do in one turn, but is it possible for me to leap to another AAT, like before, attack it, in hopes to at least break it's engine, then take cover behind it?

Taking cover in the same turn is not possible; there is no way you can attack it and not be vulnerable to enemy fire.

Ush, does Denzral's starfighter have any missiles Zeth can use? So that he can launch a torpedo towards a flight of droids, and the blast them with lasers as they break and maybe destroy/heavily damage two, one with lasers and another with the torpedo.

I am afraid not.

You're telling ME, that MY starfighter has NO missiles? Ahhhhhh! lol

Zeth, try not to CRASH land when you go down.

the best we have is to get the next AAT destroyed as fast as we can!

Jedi Starfighters are considered Light Fighters, Denzral. They don't pack missiles; they're smaller than the X-Wing. And no worries; if things get too heated, Xeth will leave the fight.

Can Jovan and Wentar simply disarm tanks? Let them keep hovering around but lop off their guns and make them useless?

And with less Vulture droids flying around up here... could Xeth make an attempt at clearing some of the battle droids?

So I can't use something like defensive leap either if I attack the tank this turn? Also fishing for advice from the vets on this one, would it be wise for me to tap Block if I attack the AAT or should I save it?

I'd save Block. You don't really need the bonus dice that it'd give you.

And Defensive Leap takes up your entire turn.

Erm... Maybe Jovan can leap over and disable the AAT, Wentar follows, takes cover behind it then taps Bodyguard onto Jovan so, even though he has no cover, his defense is doubled? That's all I can think of for now...

You don't need to tap Bodyguard for it to work, Wentar; it always works. Tapping it makes it super-protect. But Bodyguard is not magical, you have to be in a position to cover your charge with your Lightsabre. In cover behind an AAT does not work.

But my advice is this- many tuns have passed, a refresh cannot be far off. It's a good time to think about defesive taps if you are under heavy pressure.

aka: use the taps 😄

Exactly! Jovan should tap Orthodox Guard.

Problem for Wentar is that he does not have a Guard or defensive tap that would work well against this many battle droids...

But I think they should attack different tanks, like Xeth suggested. Two unarmed tanks is better than one totally destroyed.

Should've thought of that.

What would divebombing the droids entail at this point, Ush?

Looks like I really didn't think it through when I picked my blade schticks...

Alrighty. I've just realised I should have taken Xeth's advice and use my Focussed Guard, I'll focus it on a droid firing at me. I think my defense shouldn't change against anything else due to Block right? Just figured out at Block's defense and Focussed Guard's passive defense don't stack.

Now I'll disarm an AAT, leaping to it and such... Maybe I can use Presense to make myself less noticeable so there'll be less incoming fire my way? Unless it doesn't work like that. If not I'll just hope the rolls go my way this round since I can't see a way to disarm the tank and avoid the worst of the fire at the same time.

Just my two cents here... tapping Focussed Guard might be complete overkill against a battle droid. If a tank were firing at you, though...

And I don't think Presence works on droids?

I wasn't meaning tap it, just select it for the plus 3 defense.

Gotcha. Even then, might be nice to use against a tank. Those things are beastly.
