Could I heat the power packs and attempt to melt part of it? Or is that still too dangerous?

There is certainly a risk factor associated, yes.

Would we be able to hack off some reasonably size chunks of the ice and then use Lift to get them out of the way? Maybe if we do it slow enough the ice will refreeze instead of flooding the area.

I too got superlift

Vera-Kin is the only one with Lifting on our side, but Jovan has the Mastery of Lifting, Lance has a limited use of Lifting, and Denzral has Mastered Lifting and even Precision.

The rest may have to help by bodily moving the ice, or cutting sections free to help with moving.

As for the STAPs... blasting through the ice seems like it could be a bad idea. But they won't malfunction like our lightsabers if we decided to carve a tunnel out of here. Perhaps we could modify them to work as cutting tools?

Is their a way to channel Force energy from one user to help another user skilled in he task that needs doing? Eg. Super Lift. Eg me and Jovan go at it while the others lend their Force powers to us. I thin it is called Force Meld or something, I've read about it in several SW novels, however none speifically come to mind. I think it was somewhere in the NJO series? Or maybe... I dunno.

Vlad will try to establish comm link contact with Xeth and the others, to see if they have their comm links or communication devices.

I know what your talking bout Jedireaper, but I doubt that Ush will allow that in our games.

If it isn't in the rules for Force powers, safe to assume that 'Meld' does not exist. There WAS a power for feeding your power to other Jedi when they needed it in the old system, but that's irrelevant now. You are going to want to keep your own points, as they limited.

Ok, given lack of other suggestions...I would say that every Jedi gathered out here try to use their Lifting abilities, those without this skill can help by using their brute strength.

If we're able to somehow contact Xeth and company, through Force or through comm, maybe they could try Lift from their side.

Can we do something really cool like get a fighter or freighter hovering somewhere nearby and tie the ice with a rope and then tie it to the fighter and let it pull away the ice? Crazy, I know, but thats all I got.

The thing is, we're not even sure they ARE in there (in character), so doing that seems a bit overkill at the moment.

I think Ush mentioned about us feeling a great source of force under the ice, and since Jedi are full off the source, it must probably be felt much more then a normal creature or normal human.

Wentar will slide down to the others, even though he doesn't have lifting and thus can't help all that much. Also, would Presense mastered some how help in tiping off Xeth and the others that we're here?

Yes, you have your commlinks, and althogh the intervening ice causes disturbance, you can make a kind of confirmed contact with each other!

And it looks like you are in luck. Although it will take a little bit, there are enough of you with Lifting to shift enough ice away to create a person-sized gap in the obstruction!
