"Very well," is all Xavier says to Con then adds in one last tid bit.

"Perhaps someday we shall bring them forward into time."

Edit: And yes everything in Bold is Xavier thinking with himself with his otherself.

Everything in Quotation marks is him speaking out loud.

Galder diligently works on finishing up his making of the crystal's copy.

"Briande was dead when we found him," Galder says as if practicing for speaking with Adelmo. "Exposure and gun wounds. It happens. Crystal was clutched in his hand..."

Rand also distinctly remembers that we never discussed anything with Briande because he was dead...

I understand that the Force can be used to detect lies, but what of one Force-user to another?

It's not a literal lie detector, it just depends on how well they pick up your feelings. You guys have a Lying skill for a reason.

So those who are actually any good at Lying will share that part of the story.

But yeah. Briande was dead when we found him.

We should let Rand or Gallador tell that story then.

"Hmm, so you want to conceal what we learned from Briande from the Lady. It seems wise. On the other hand, we could take a risk and confront her about Kuylen..." Considers Gallador.

He could tell a lie, he has maxed charisma and lying. and iron will.

"My mind is like iron, she won`t see through it." -He explains proudly.

That's the kind of stuff that gets you beat up on the playground. But I agree, you should do it.

Fortunately Gallador was brought in Jedi Temple, so was never beaten in the playground, I quess.

"Confronting the Lady does not seem like a wise decision," Rand says, "as Galder found out."

"Certainly not in our current situation. I am still weakened after our last fight. But telling her everything is not a necessity"

"Yeah, no," Galder says. "I've only got so many lightsabers..."

Ok, so, you have your copy of the data from the crystal, so that in mind you are giving the crystal over, yes?

I think that was the plan. Galder was opposed to it, but as was discussed earlier, at the moment we have more to gain from simply giving it over, the benefits being that Adelmo will handle the pirates and we will not be killed.

Is there any way to tamper with the crystal's information without it being obvious? Galder thought about smashing it or shooting it, then blaming it on Briande...

No, it is too delicate to not be obvious. And if you hand her nothing, she'll just not do anything herself.

Which means death by piratey invasion or abandoning our base. So that's a horrible idea...

What about handing her pieces?

I don't see why we as a group would risk that.

Little of note happens on the way back. You slip out of the Republic, never seeing a Bureau ship.

Some days later you are back in Epirean space, arriving at those co-ordinates that most navigation systems wouldn't even see, due to the stellar anomaly.

"I wonder if Lady will wait for us inside, again. Quite insolent of her, isn`t it?" Speaks Gallador as they descent towards the world below.

"Until she respects us, she will probably do whatever she damn well pleases," Galder says over the comm system, once their ships drop out of hyperspace over Epireus. "And even then, who's to say she will ever see us that way?"
