Arrival then...

You guys wink out of hyperspace around the plamnet Gondekorro, which even from space looks like a dump.

It's a desert world mostly, it seems, and any 'civilisation' has kept to its few moist areas. It's more like a desert in the American West than a Tatooine-style African desert, though that probbaly makes little difference to those who die out there.

In fact there is only one highly noticable serttlement to go down into, whose starport you can find easily. You aren't sure why this place got the starport, because its a tiny, cruddy place, from what you can tell from here.

"What a piece of junk," Dak says of the planet. He's extremely weary after a week in a small, enclosed space with Rianna and Galder. He never would have guessed it was possible to argue more than they already did...

In fact the journey only took about six days in the end, so that's one day of trouble spared you.

Xavier sits over the cockpit as Trax guides in the ship to the planet. They made it in six days. A very efficiently run journey.

We know better. This group is anything but efficient.

"You sell them too short. Yes they are diseased scum..."

Like ourselves

"Yes like us, but like us they are not stupid. They have the capacity to do things we don't know we are capable of."

Is your mind changing on the matter. Has our agreement changed? BLOOD, DEATH, DESTRUCTION! The infernal fires is my claim. Our glory is mine.

"No the bargain is as before. You will have your glory and I shall my death that is becoming a failure such as ourselves. It started at Newhaven, it shall continue on Gondekorro. When it ends though is something we are not equipped to know. Thus I shall prepare accordingly to our stay in this realm of existence."

Trax stands next to him. He knows that Xavier's mind is a shattered mess, and so says nothing to this showing.

"Follow the others in Trax."

Con woke up from his sleeping place near the Epireans. At first they were reluctant to share their room with one of their Masters, but Con can be quite a likable guy, and besides, what were they going to do, so after a day or so they didn't really care about him and had in fact some enjoyable conversations. Con was very excited to hear about some of their battles and adventures from a uniquely Epirean view. Now that they finally arrived he walked from their "cell" to the cockpit, to look at the planet. "Hey, Gav, how are you this morning? Pretty cool planet, don't you think? I've been to desert planets before, but none like that, I'm looking forward to experiencing it."

Ever since he had told Xavier about the mission on Epireus, he thought Xavier being a bit less antagonistic...he wasn't sure whether that was because genuine or he just lost interest in him. Maybe it all was in his mind...he still couldn't help himself calling him Gav...it just seemed too funny, though, maybe a dangerous habit.

"The planet's coolness is irrelevant. All that matters about this place is that it houses our target. And once again my name is not Gav it is Xavier."

Con had told Xavier about his mission went when they were gone. The inability to catch Orgos seemed to be a gleaming failure painted on it. Yet this person did achieve the main objective of the mission, thus proving they were to some degree valuable assets for now.

"There are targets on many planets, the particular make up of this planet is but on one, my friend. But I agree, we shouldn't lose track of our mission. Oh, and sorry about your name, my mind is mixed up often."

"What could this planet have had that made people want to come here?" Rianna asks no one in particular while exiting the ship. Her anger had lessened a bit during the trip, but she was still in a very bad mood.

"It is understandable. Minds can be... tricky things. Also be sure to ask questions if you need any guidance on what we do from here on."

"I will. Shall we meet up with our companions?"

You bring your ships into atmosphere to land at the starport. From the air rather than space, you get a better view of the sttlement. It seems mostly hand built, almoist a shanty town, but more prolific than you at first thought. But large parts of it reigster as empty; as if a large sprawl was built here but then... just abandoned.

It has high winds and wide open steets for the desert dust and sand to blow through the settleent; although it is rather warm you will want to wear decent clothing to avoid your skin being damaged over time.

And that's odd- there is a huge region, looking like a rocky region, near the settlement, that goes on as far as you can see, although you have not got a good look at it from here, that you cannot seem to scan properly. It bounces your scan beams back, like a large mirror.

Xavier stands up from his seat, "Yes let us."

Xavier begins to walk out, "Trax stay with the ships as before."

We should probably check out that region specifically. Also, Rocky region on a desert planet.....Desert of Stones....DA DA DA DUMMMM!

"That rocky area..." Dak says quietly, tapping the sensor screen, "Very odd. If it can't be scanned... good place to hide. We'll have to ask about that."

"Or something is already hidden there..." Rianna replies.

"Could be that's where our Briande is," Dak continues, nodding, "I'd say maybe this won't be such a hassle after all, but then again..." he trails off with a sour look.

"One thing at a time," Galder says as he brings the Black Dawn down into the starport. He looks oddly at the reflected scans from that rocky region, but thinks little of it.

Is there anyone hailing us from the starport or are we able to just set down and be done with it?

Nah, there doesn't seem to be a traffic control system; you just mosey on io.

Once the Arnian freighter sets down, Galder very quickly powers the ship down and departs from the ship, wanting to be the first to step onto the surface of Gondekorro.

As for clothing, I don't suppose we have anything to cover up with?

Con is usually clothed in robes anyways.
