USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (JEDI)- Purity

Sweet, I'll refresh Reflection and toss it in again, and tap it as I move towards the 4 droid unit and attack one of them.

If you had not already asked for it to be swapped back in, then it is too late.

Jelena does not look away from Kathya after recoiling away from the acid now spilling from the vat, but notices the flash of lightsabers dissecting a battle droid out of the corner of her eye and senses that Sunda has joined them.

"To your Master, quickly!" she urges him, before addressing Kathya again. "You have failed, Kathya. You cannot win against the three of us, not after Andro has already removed half of your backup. Please, see reason! Sienar is dying of a degenerative brain disease, he will no longer be able to harm you..."

Despite her words, she presses on against Kathya with a strong blow aimed for the shooter's upper arm, hoping to remove her gun hand.

Then I won't use it, and change my strategy.
I'll go for the lone droid, and swap the tapped Block for the refreshed Reflection, and then attack the droid.

Initiative to the good guys! Sunda leaps up and downs two droids with a Charge tap, taking one down in mid-air before landing next to another and bisecting it... meanwhile the fight down below goes on, with Kathya ignoring Jelena and blasting away.

Can Jelena use Scan on Kathya in the midst of this fighting?

Knowing that Roan and his Padawan will be with her soon, Jelena throws out her hand to push Kathya over once more before following up with a precise cut towards Kathya's legs, aiming to immobilize her.

Not really an opportuntiy for Scan, no.

Then I will move towards the last 2 droids and attack one.

Oh, just to be clear, Jelena is using another Combat Push this turn. She will also use Evade, becoming a blur as she moves in a dance-like spin away from Kathya's shots.

Initiative is yours again! But things are rapidly drawing to a close now.

Sunda and Roan cut down those last two droids. And whilst Kathya takes Jelena to 35 damage, the fight there finishes the round after. Jelena finally catches up with Kathya, cornering her against a rail- and with one final slash, she is hit. She staggers backwwards, falls back over the rail and into one of the vats.

Jelena watches Kathya for a moment after her lightsaber finds its mark and flashes across Kathya's stomach in the heat of battle. She finds herself hoping that the wound is not fatal but is distracted from this when Kathya suddenly falls from the walkway into a vat of acid. She immediately shouts and uses the Force to try and Lift Kathya back up to the walkway.

(Oh snap. You did a little too well, Jelena. 😛 )

That's really going to break the PG-13 rating if you lift her out of that thing, Jelena. Let's just say it is too late.

Then Jelena will quickly run to the edge and look over, just in time to watch Kathya's body dissolve beyond recognition as it sinks deeper into the vat. She sighs heavily and puts away her lightsaber.

"So much for an arrest," Jelena comments to Roan and Sunda as they approach, and Andro leaps back up, having heard the cease in blasterfire. "If only she had listened... but Sienar's hand was pressed firmly on her shoulder. There was never any chance that she would."

She looks about at the scrapped battle droids.

"Well. It seems we arrived just in time, Andro. Are you alright?"

"I'm still alive." Andro comments, starting at the vat where Kathya fell. "I wish we could have gotten information out of her, but that was probably never going to happen." He looks at the others, "Ok, so naw we have to figure out why these vats are here in the first place."

"What purpose would vats of acid serve?" Jelena ponders. "Other than posing a serious health hazard in a combat setting, of course."

"Whose body is that?" asks Sunda, of the original body Andro saw in there.

"Oh, another one, delightful," Jelena says, moving over to where Sunda is to see if she can identify the also-dissolving body. "I have a feeling it is Twain's double, but I cannot be sure..."

"Yeah, I forgot to mention that. i saw it when I started investigating this place, that's when Kathya made her appearance. That reminds me, thanks for showing up when you did. I don't think I would have lasted much longer.

Anyway, these vats. There' way to many here to simply be used for disposing of the odd foe or 'retired' henchmen. This is quite a production they have here." He turns to stare into the vats, as if to devine their purpose by doing so. "By the way, anyone bring a medkit?"

(Ok, I'm a little lost as to which parts Andro was around to hear and wasn't, as far as the death of the colony, the clone stuff and Seinar's madness/brain disease. May we assume we catch each other up at this point?)
