While the group exhanges information Andro tries to do some stretches to get the pains out of his muscles. That is when he notices the wound in his side. He opens his Jedi robes to inspect it. "Oh, that's not good. She got me. I bet she enjoyed it too. I knew the shots were getting close, but I never realised I was hit. Adrenaline, I guess. I'm going back to the ship, see if there's a medkit or something. Then I'll see what the council thinks of these vats. Wish we had a droid to record a holo."
(You know what you never see in Star Wars? A portable camera. No one ever takes pictures, but somehow there's always a hologram of something when you need it.)
Jelena will bring Andro up to speed as to everything they learned while he was running off to arrest Kathya, with Jelena also apologizing for sending him off alone and resulting in his being shot.
"We should investigate what lies beyond that door," Jelena says, gesturing up to it to show Roan and Sunda. "Andro... inform the Council as to the fate of Kathya. We are now going to retrieve Gallagher."
Andro looks at the door, and wants to go through, but knows he can't. "May the Force be with you both. Keep you comlinks open, just in case you get to a point where they work. I'll contact the council and find a medkit, then I'll be back as soon as possible." He turns to leave and start on his way, but faces them again, "Careful with Seinar, he gets in your head. And be careful with Gallagher, I fear he may not be on our side any longer." And with that, he departs.
Andro makes his way back, and in a poor mood. This is NOT how he envisioned this mission working out. He hates more than anything how he's had to leave his fellow Jedi, one just an apprentice, to deal with probably the most dangerous creature in the Galaxy. One who knows Andro better than Andro does, who has foiled them at every turn, been at least one step ahead of them. All they've uncovered, and they've still got no idea what Seinar's TRUE game is.
Andro really worried about how much of this is his own fault. It seems no decision he's made has been the right one. All but one seemed right at the time, only killing Seinar did he know was wrong, but even then he felt he had the right reason. What about this decision, to run back to the safety of teh ship and call the Council? Sure, they need to know, but Sunda could have done that. Andro know he's in no condition to fight, but so what? Does he deserve to save himself while the others face Seinar? He still has a few saber swings left in him, he could still contribute; couldn't he? Or would he be the distraction that made one of the others let their guard down at a crucial moment? Seinar would see that for sure. And what of Gallagher? Would he fight for or against Seiner? Andro would have to admit he couldn't be sure. Andro has no idea what's right, what may come, what parts he could or should have prevented.
Andro, the fighter, Jedi swordsman, feels more utterly helpless for the first time in his life.
You step outside.
It is pouring down with warm, humid rain; the darkeing oranage sky- as evening comes on- is obscured by clouds that are darker still.
From the raised position of the Basilica, you can look down upon the park where the Senators are adjourning to somewhere drier. They are making all the new deals and arragements that suit the coming changes.
The reception guards nod as you move out. Strange they didn't ask for your sabres this time, considering their zeal for the pacifistic Jubilee earlier.
Then you, Roan and Sunda merge into a large and gloomy room above.
Though the tiled floor is clear in the centre of the room, the outskirts are piled full of bookcases, which are in turn stuffed full of books iof all sizes and apparent ages.
It would be deathly quiet in this library, save for the familiar vibrating hum of a lightsabre.
There is an exit at the far side of the room, closed, and it is in front of that that Sienar, cloaked and hooded, stands; his red sabre extended from the grip in his right hand, held to one side, and his left hand gestured towards you, palm up, seeming to beckon you in its gnarled and twisted way.
Jelena removes her lightsaber from her belt. She glances about at the library, remembering the mighty bookshelves on Cassilis and pondering if Sienar has any Sith tablets about the room. But she keeps her attention the Dark Side menace that stands opposite of the Jedi.
"Why confront us?" Jelena says. "We have nothing on you, Sienar. You did a fantastic job of covering your tracks. Kathya has taken the fall for you, like all the others."
She looks about, as if expecting Gallagher to walk out from behind a bookcase and join Sienar.
"What have you done with Gallagher?"
(Sorry, I was away for a little while. Pesky little hospital visit.)
As Andro leaves the Basilica, once again he is not confronted about his weapon. This time he feels like asking why, and so goes back to the guard. He holds his side as he addresses them, doing his best to act as if it is perfectly normal to do so, despite his appearance.
"Excuse me. I was wondering why you are no longer confiscating arms. Not that I mind, but has there been a change in situation that I'm not aware of?"
