And he makes it! As the door closes over Jelena and Sunda's head, Roan gets one final boost off a bookcase with a foot and propels himself over to Sienar! Roan's blade is already strikign for his foe as they clash upon landing...

... and so tomorrow I shall open up the first sabre fight duel in my game since Zeiton!

Gosh, this has been the only duel during my time as a member.

Andro- you just made it back to the front gate...

(I bet this is gonna be good.) Andro, out of breath and in pain, dashes toward the entrance, waiving a greeting to the guards, aiming to go straight through. But he takes good measure of the guards, in case Seinar has yet another surprise in store.

Jelena reactivates her lightsaber in the darkness, holding it before her to spread its light while reaching out with her Senses to see what else Sienar has in store for them. She moves towards Sunda, observing the light from his lightsabers and sensing his mind.

"Are you alright?" she asks.

"I'm fine," says Sunda, and he speaks truly except for his pride.

This is when the poison gas starts to flood the chamber.

(You know, with a degenerative brain disease, I sometimes wonder if Seinar went crazy some time ago. What is his whole plot isn't all that bad? I mean he still shows us he's very cunning, with his traps and manipulations, but what if he's out of touch with reality? There is still the fact of Gallagher's vision of Seinar preventing the deaths of so many. Maybe he's actually up to some good? Just a wild though I wanted to put out there.)

"Find an exit, and hurry!" Jelena tells Sunda. She will prepare to hold her breath, while using both the light from her lightsaber and her Sense to try locating something that can be used for exiting this room.

You are in a sealed pit with no exits...

Could Jelena sense where the walls are thinner, if there are rooms next to this one? She wants to see if she could, with Sunda's help, cut through into the next area and get out of this death trap.

No rooms, no. You are 'between levels' as it were.

Besides the vents that the poison gas must be coming through, can Jelena see anything of note within the pit?

No, it is otherwise featureless.

"Any ideas, Padawan?" Jelena asks Sunda as she quickly searches the room. "I am thinking we should try cutting through the floor."

"That staircase we came up to get here was very long!" yells Sunda. "This floor could be ten metres thick or more!"

"That is problematic," Jelena says. "And I am not sure of the walls, we seem to be between floors so there would not be rooms on any side of us. The force field above prevents us from getting out that way. I would suggest crawling out of the vents but they are currently filling with poison gas. We wouldn't last long."
