Nom, that CAN be cut through, if you can disable the shield. But the shiled is not de-activated and holding him up there just seems to cut you out of the equation.

Would the generator not deactivate if Jelena just slashed it apart?

In theory, yes, But you only have time for one slash when you are up there and it has to be a very good one as the field is hostile. It would have to be hit in the right place.

Would Guidance help there, using the Force to determine things?

Much more likely to help on the attack to hit it!

Using it twice in one scene is something I am not inclined to allow, for dramatic reasons.

So either I can use Fix-It to determine where exactly the spot to hit is or I can swing blindly to save time but I might not disable the generator...

Could Dash be used to cram both actions into one? Or is that not a proper use of the power?

Dash will make the jump quicker, not longer...

If I made my jumps quicker with Dash, then would I be able to make two jumps in the amount of time that normally I would make one, and so only make one Strength roll against the gas?

You've kinda missed the point here. What you are lacking is time enough whilst high up. Dash does not make you act quicker, only move quicker.

Hmm. As nifty as using Fix-It would be to establish where I should stab, isn't there a possibility that a good Lightsaber roll would wreck the thing anyway? Shortening my number of actions required for getting out of here seems like the thing to do.
