Ok, you have a power link you can see. If breached, it will interrupt the power to the field. But unless breached in several places, it will only interrupt the field monentarily. So it needs to be breached AND you need to stick sonething solid in there to continually disrupt the flow.

I am guessing that jamming a lightsaber blade in there will not do the trick for keeping it interrupted?

If not, how big does the object need to be? Could it be her lightsaber, or her comlink? Maybe her robe?

A sabre won't do as it if left in a object it cuts keep cutting and slides downards!

It would need to be something pretty solid about a foot long.

We definitely have some bookshelves that shattered when they fell down here. A chunk of one of those could suffice, I think! I am supposing that it would be impossible to shove that in there in the same turn that I have cut through the wire (assuming I get that in one go).

Could Jelena take this next action to make her attack on the poewr link, and then the next have Sunda leap up and jam the shelf-piece in while Jelena then levitates him the rest of the way to the 'ceiling' before he descends his leap?

Well, that involves both of you passing Strength rolls for the duration/.

Perhaps you may have a missed a betetr way to achieve the same result?

Could the power link be broken with the wooden piece? Saves time.

Reeling from the sudden blast that toppled him, Andro staggers back to his feet. Doing his best to ignore tha pain of his injuries, he puts everything he has into making speed up to where he knows the final fight must be. He hopes that blast was the end of Seinar, not Roan and the others. Because Andro has no more time to deal with the madman, who has little time left himself. No, Andro is looking now for the murderer. He's looking for Gallagher.

Okay, better way to get this done. Could Jelena levitate Sunda up to the power link so that he can cut it, then put the wood piece in, then cut through the floor?

We could leap up at the same time- one cuts the link, one places the plank. Though I think you mentioned we would get in each other's way.

I am not entirely sure what you mean by that. You mean as far as using the Force for a simpler escape?

Using the Force being part of it, sure.

But you are a Jedi; what powers are generally associated with Jedi?

Telekinesis? Pulling and pushing things with the Force, easily enough associated with us.

Could Sunda leap up and slash the power link while Jelena puts the plank into place with the Force?

More a shard than a plank. But that is certainly much more practical, yes.

When the shield flickers from the wave of hatred emanating from above, Jelena nearly forgets the gravity of her situation in her brief worry for Roan's safety. But she realizes she must get up there to prevent worse from happening, and so tells Sunda her plan.

"Jump up and slash apart the power link," Jelena says, pointing it out. "I will jam it with a wooden shard, and the force field should be shut down."

Jelena will use the Force to begin levitating the wooden shard into place as Sunda makes his attack.

You don't want just to levitate it into place, Jelena. Be dramatic! Time is of the essence!
