USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (JEDI)- Purity

The room you have walked into now... is entirely different from the rest of the Basilica. Gone are the elgant bright walls, the artwork, the murals... this room is austere, metallic, with a simple metal desk on the far saide, and an equally simple metal chair which Sienar heads over to (pausing on the way to support his weight against the table)- though he does not sit.

Oh, and everything is black. The walls, table, everything. It is dimly lit also.

"Ah, the hidden lair is revealed," Jelena says, blinking to adjust her eyes to the dimness of the room. "So that we may talk in private of things beyond Mirani, I presume."

Sienar presses a (presumably black) button on the desk.

Sliding out of the walls near the door you came in close two vast blast doors (black, also...)- heavy, metallic, severe looking blast doors. They clash shut with a resounding noise.

Jelena's hand brushes her lightsaber. She keeps her eyes concentrated on Sienar after glancing back at the blast doors, not wanting to let him take her unawares if that is his intention.

Sienar turns towards you and draws himself up to his full height. You hear a horrible sound of cracking bones- exposed bones. He then reaches back and draws back his hood, to reveal the remnants of what was once his face; his white hair is straggly and ghoulish; half of his face is pale and seems to droop slightly from the skull.

This is the good half; on the other half there is no flesh left. At the point where flesh and skull meets you can see where the flesh has been searned abd burned, precisely melted onto the skull itself by Sienar's laser treatments. On the skull side, though, the eye, llidless, still seems to function, the eyeball looking grossly exposed, it's piercing blueness still visible. Down at the mouth, the skull is mixed with parts of gum- but no mouth on that side, his gum and teeth fully exposed. He seems to have learned to speak mostly from the good half of his face.

He takes a full breath, and you hear a horrible rasp from internal body damage to the lungs and trachea.

"This room is now fully sealed. Nothing can get in or out, and no-one can listen in to anything we say. Which gives us a very intersting situation..."

"We cannot apprehend you at this point, Sienar," Jelena says. "We have no evidence of what you are and what you have done. But I have a feeling you do not want to allow us the opportunity."

"Of course you cannot apprehend me," he says. "And nor can I do anything suspicious whilst you are around. A deadlock. As for denying you the opportunity... well now. Howe could I stop you, if you wanted to enough? I am but one crippled man, and you are three Jedi in your prime."

"I am sure there is more to you than this mere flesh, Sienar," Jelena says. "Andro tells me you were powerful enough to stop him and Gallagher near simultaneously."

"Caught by surprise," says Sienar, "and in an arena suitable for me. Still, I am gratified that you feel that I have power enough to destroy you all casually. Fear is, after all, one of areas of particular knowledge."

Jelena frowns.

"And I am sure you would not threaten anyone with a lightsaber if you could not still use it to an adequate level against a Jedi."

"Against a half-trained Jedi like Gallagher, maybe. But whilst once I may have rated myself as an able swordsman able to take on the Jedi's finest, you can hardly expect me to be at my prime any more in the martial areas. And when it comes to three Jedi... well. There are few indeed who could manage such a feat. You have already met one, Roan; it seems unlikely you would meet another."

Gallagher already had his lightsaber in hand before entering the scene. With a simple press of a button, the blue blade sprang forth and so did Gallagher, wanting to tear his sister's killer apart, cut him down as he had done to her...

Was it your Lightsabre, Gallagher? Did you kill him with your Lightsabre? You can't even remember. he was dead not long after... did you gret that close to him? Maybe you did. You remember your sabre being on. But you cannot remember what the body looked like. How did he die?

Wait, no... Gallagher remembers that the first life he ever took was on Droben, so he could not have slain him. His lightsaber was on, that is for sure, and Gallagher wanted to do it, but... Gallagher couldn't have done it.

No, you're right. Hmm. Something not quite right there then.

What did happen to her kidnapper then? Did Korth kil him? Maybe Brith and the others disposed of him.

But you DID confront, him you are sure of it. You got there first, after all, just a little too late.

Korth could not have killed him because Gallagher arrived first, and Gallagher's vision shows that the Dark Jedi engaged Korth as soon as he entered. They must have disposed of him, just as I reached him.

Yes, seems logical... but why? Why kill him there and then? Dark Side irrationality, perhaps, there's not always a reason behind their whims.

Something about your hazy memory of all that doesn't make sense. Maybe... maybe you DID kill him?

Gallagher cannot be sure and wishes he could concentrate through this hazy memory... but it is for sure that either he killed him, or Brith killed him, because Korth was fighting the other two Dark Ones that arrived with Brith, Vale and Fenring...

Is that it? Is that what Sienar wanted you to remember?

That feeling you got on Droben- was that the true shock of a new experience... or a recovered memory from your trauma?

I suppose Sienar would not simply want me to remember him murdering my sister's killer... gloating because he deprived me of a kill. No... perhaps that memory came to surface when I remembered what it was like to take a life.

So I killed my sister's killer.
