Present Day
"Your feelings are confused," says Sienar. "You are drawing lose to your time of trauma. Your mind is unwilling to remember; you must have the will to force it to obey your desires."
Sienar's head suddenly snaps up as he seems to sense something. A moment later, you sense it too; an abrupt change of modd from... just about everyone in the Basilica, even the city.
"It's started," he says.
-
You Jedi, left wondering what to do, are also aware of this change of mood, though you are seeing it first hand. Suddenly, doors are opening and people are shouting; Senators and their entourages, negotiators, busienssmen, all are suddenly abandining their meetings and pouring into the halls and corridors trying to contact their homeworlds, their business partners, even each other; the whole is forming one confused mess.
Jelena senses it before she sees it. Something happens that the entire mood of the Basilica changes, though to what she is not sure. She tries to concentrate her senses to figure out what, exactly, the mood has turned to.
Then, she tries to stop someone from the oncoming crowd that is pouring into their corridor.
"What is going on?" she asks whomever it is she stops.
Andro looks around, momentarily shocked by the sudden chaos int he peacful setting. "This can't be good!" is the only things his mind can get to his mouth for a few seconds, then it hits him. "It's started! He shouts to Jelena over the din. Whatever Seinar is about, this is it! We failed!"
Something like panic, and maybe even a little anger, though he'd hate to admit it even to himself, floods Andro's mind. We were too slow, too stupid, just as Seinar predicted. he assumes to himself.
"Let's go." Andro pulls at Jelena, heedless of whatever she is trying to do at the moment. "We have to get out lightsabers back. Now's the time. Call Roan and Sunda, they need to get here as fast as they can!"
Whether she folllows him or not, he dashes as fast as he can to the enterance to retreive his beloved weapon.
Ok, Andro is off to the front gate- Jelena, hard to get random people to listen in the confusion; anyoe you want to get a hold of?
-
"You'll see soo enough," says Sienar.
He visibly stumbles again, Gallagher, almost toppling over to one side. Strange- you sensed no pain from him. He grunts and draws himself up to full height.
"Soon it will be time for my speech. I must prepare. Many things will conme together in these coming hours. Although I know how it will end, even I do not knpow precisely what will happen. And so although I want to be with you at your moment of realisation, it is possible we will not meet again, or I will not get a chance to talk to you when it is calm and quiet. So there are two things I want you to know and consider."
That seems near impossible. As a senior member of the commission it seems that about three dozen Senators and their entourages are trying to speak to him before you. He is yelling at some of his subordinates for reports, but everyone is yelling back the same thing, words you are eharing all around you.
"It's off! It's off, the deal is off! ALL deals are off the table!"
"First of all, to work out what I am doing you must first work out why the answer you gave me to my earlier question about joining me was so stupid. Perhaps when you recall the final confronation it will make sense, though you should have kept your eyes and ears open as well. Secondly..."
He moves up close to you and whispers in your ear.
"... I don't think you've learned much from the experiences of your friends..."
