There is absolutely no way Sienar is faking that condition.

"As you wish," Gallagher says. "Good night, Abbot Sienar."

What has been arranged for Gallagher's sleeping quarters?

A lavish 'penthouse' apartment, near the top of the Basilica.

Gallagher will gladly accept a chance to rest, despite not being in the best of circumstances. He is still weary from the events of Spiridos and will drop off to sleep eagerly.

Scovione's story mostly ends there, except for two post-scripts.

The first is from a few years ago, when Scovione was the first Jedi on-scene on the day Gallagher's sister died.

"I understand we are not meant to say much about it due to certain pormises made in a deal between the Council and the Klinge-Faust family at the time," says Scovione, "but to cut a long story short- Thespia is a rich planet of many luxuries. Some would call it effete. The planet has a major drugs problem."

It was Scovione who dragged Master Korth and Gallagher, both badly injured, out of there. Scovione understands one Dark Siders escaped- and when he was there, just for a moment, he thought he had felt the presence of his old enemy.

The second post-script is less vague and possibly more telling. Paluzzi's remnants were found a few years ago, identifiable only by genetic testing. The remnants were found in the wilds of the planet Floria.

"Floria being the world where Sienar contracted his illness?" Jelena asks. "How troubling. How was Paluzzi found?"

"Yes, that is the world. And by simple chance."

"There is no such thing as chance," Jelena says.

"Well, a botany expedition found the remnants; make of that what you will."

Jelena grimaces. "A Dark Sider dying by becoming one with plantlife, plants being an evidence of life. Ironic."

"In any case. If this link is true... then this Sienar is a foe you must be extremely careful of. He has taken everything Paluzzi could teach him about the Force and combined that with a far greater mind. By now he might have the power akin to the Sith Lords of old. None of you have ever faced an opponent like that."

"Well, except for my very one-sided confrontation with him, Master. He is very powerful in the Force, no doubt. I have no reason to beleive he is lacking in Saber skill, either. If all these coincidences add up, and he really is the one who killed Gallagher's sister, then he has been working on this for a very long time. Could he have had plans for Gallagher for so long?"

The man Scovione knew was not lacking in sabre skill. Then again he was not a cripple either.

"To be powerful with the force grants one the ability to navigate the future to your own ends."

"Assuming we manage to expose Sienar, do you think three Jedi will be enough to battle him? Or even Gallagher? We cannot be quite sure of what state Gallagher will be in when we come to that point, after all. Perhaps more Jedi should be brought."

It's not a mission he has organised. But Sienar IS crippled, after all, and three Jedi (plus Padawan) is a heck of a lot more than most missions get! No-one else is available. He suspects they would have sent Kenobi if he wasn't busy. it'#s all part of the line of destiny, you see.

Kenobi is always busy!

Jelena will thank Master Scovione for imparting his wisdom to them on the matter of Sienar, if there is nothing more he wishes to say.

Scovione does have one other thing to say, but it's more... a bad feeling he has than anything concrete- unofrtunate addendums to all of these events.

"What is it, Master Scovione?" Jelena asks, looking concerned.

"It is just... everyone involved in this man's past have come to... disturbing events in their life... except, so far, me, save that I see all around me burning. Dooku has left the Order, his apprentice Qui-Gon, dead. My apprentice forced into retirement by the assassination attempt on the Viceroy. Gallador... fallen to the Dark Side in a series of events that I still cannot fully explain. Master Korth, crippled. And now Gallagher."

"Gallagher will NOT fall, Master. He will help defeat Seinar. That evil creatures days of ruining lives are nearly over."
