Then I think the Jedi are off! What are the travel arrangements for the next morrow!

-

"I will be fine," Sienar is saying is you come downstairs, Gallagher, "but I think Kathya will need your help. That will be all." The man nods and leaves.

"Your emotions betray you," says Sienar without looking around. "They show your mind like a brilliant flare in a dark sky. Trouble sleeping?"

Gallagher is taken aback when Sienar senses him, realizing that he should control himself better.

"I am still weary from Spiridos," Gallagher says, "but yes. I cannot set my mind at ease with my current predicament. It is... frustrating."

"The present can be overwhelming. And right now you fear the future. Think on your past instead. Then you will sleep."

"I have nothing to fear from my past," Gallagher reasons. Gallagher folds his arms and pulls his robes tight about him, cold in the presence of Sienar's dark power.

"Who were you talking to?" Gallagher asks.

I still have my ship.
We can take that

Everyone going in Roan's ship then?

-

"At this point in time, Gallagher, he is my most dangerous weapon of all! So let us test your instincts. What is he?"

(Andro has no ship. He'll go with Roan.)

It's morning then. You guys are leaving from the Jedi Temple hangar platform. Time to see what destiny has in store!

"A businessman," Gallagher says. "Or a lawyer."

Jelena wakes from her rest and gathers her thoughts as she goes to join Roan and Andro on his starfreighter. She grabs her lightsaber, almost forgetting that she only has one due to the frightening duel on Cassilis against her own friend.

"Are we ready?" Jelena asks her companions.

"Giving two answers shows hazy thinking, Gallagher."

"A lawyer, then," Gallagher says, slightly annoyed.

It is hard to tell if he grins or not, partly because of the shawl, but mostly because half of his face no longer has the skin to distinguish grin from frown.

"Better," he says. "Now to your bed."

Gallagher frowns at being dismissed like a little boy sneaking around after dark, even though he realizes that that is sort of what he was doing.

Gallagher will return to his quarters.

(Just a note to an earlier query- the Basilica is actually vaguely cube shaped; a bit higher than it is board and deep but basically more of a squat citadel shape than you might have thoiught. However, it is SO big (a town in its own right) that it still dominates the skyline.

Gallagher

-

You stand atop the basilica, lightsabre in hand. The person lays defenceless beneath you, the source of all the remaining evil. You can kill him if you wish! You raise your sabre as the person raises an arm in hopeless defence…

The vision is broken by a long scream, though you cannot tell who it is from. Suddenly you are adrift in possibilities and events, overwhelming you. Tiny moments of lucidity stand out at you.

You see a woman with white hair. She can kill with a word, twist a person’s mind into self-destruction. Or she can turn her power upon a world entire, and watch the Galaxy burn.

The girl in a black shawl by her side throws a number of small white objects onto the ground, where they clatter and form a pattern.

“Not yet,” she says.

“The tomb, then,” says the Lady.

“I see a small settlement built around a dormant volcano… a lower level and an upper level connected… there was a great battle there once…”

“That’s the right place to start.”

You lose your focus and a million different sounds and sights assail you once more… you see sharp rocks in a desert, searchers within, looking for a man who bears a great secret… what is it? You hear something, something that causes you great alarm, something that should never have been heard again… but what is it? You cannot hear it… the one saying it is incomprehensible…

“Gallagher! Help me!” shouts Korth as a lightsabre cuts towards his side; he blocks it and steps back, under attack from two different assailants. But you don’t go and help; all you can do is stare at the dead girl on the ground, shot in the back. The third assailant in the house does not join the attack on Korth; he stays at the side of the room, looking at you, and laughing; mocking laughter that fills your head. Your eyes snap upwards, and fix their eyes upon her murderer standing by her corpse; his insane eyes stare back at you. Suddenly the ignited sabre is in your hand…

Billions upon billions of dead bodies lay all around you- you can see them all, stretching out across time, maybe trillions… far, far into the future you see the effects of the collapse of this region… in a long line, you follow back the trail of bodies until you see the first, the first body that started the disaster. Sienar. If they kill him, it will start. Only he can stop it. You must save him! You run forwards to take on his assassins…

They are Andro, Roan and Jelena.

“But I came here to help you, Gallagher,” says Andro, his hands red with the blood of countless innocents.

That scream again…

-

You jerk awake, sweating heavily. You jerk again as you see Sienar at the foot of the bed.

"Well now, Gallagher," says Sienar. "It seems your friends have arrived."

Jelena

-

You see a great citadel under a dark sky. There is torrential rain all around. You are upon the roof. You advance forwards, the rain sizzling on your lightsabre. There before you is your foe, his sabre held high. For a moment in the rain you see the cloaked form of Sienar, but when you get close, you see that it is not him, but Gallagher, his sabre held high over the defenceless form below, a person begging for mercy.

You run forwards to stop him, but the sabre descends and it is too late. And suddenly you are not carrying a lightsabre but a blaster, and in a last desperate attempt to stop an unheeding Gallagher, you fire as his sabre is out of position, hacking at the form below…

-

You are meditating on board Roan's ship. These visions of the future are unusually obscure. The power of the Dark Side is clouding accurate sight. Yet the Force seems to have revealed something to you- albeit a mystery.

No more time now. Roan is guiding the ship into landing on Mandragos.

Gallagher shakes himself awake, mopping his brow with the hem of his robes.

"They are?" Gallagher asks, his mind still on the unsettling and scattered vision.

"Indeed they are! So we had better establish some rules."

"You have my undivided attention."
