And so you dive down again... unfortunately, they got initiative and you are caught out rather, as those firing above you are not obstructed whilst you are in the middle. Let's see how your desperate leap goes.

Well, all 10 points of your protection are removed in one go- and Kathya gets you again, this time for four pooints. But you do make it down behind a vat, desperately leaping behind a hail of fire in a very Butch Cassidy-esque situation.

But it is at this point that Roan is now cutting his way through the entrance door.

(Yes! I am guessing that the others will spill into the room in the next turn. This turn, Andro should make use of that last Force point to Defensive Leap, to raise his Defense up again, and use Coordination to make things difficult. Swap out Perfect Strike.)

When Roan and Jelena race through Sienar's office and into the secret black room, Jelena pauses to take stock of her surroundings. Without an evident way onwards, she looks over the desk and finds the control for opening the narrow doorway to the flight of stairs. At the top, the Jedi find themselves met with another door.

"It is locked," Jelena says. "We will have to hotwire the controls..."

She is cut off when Roan plunges his lightsaber into the door and starts to cut it away. Jelena reaches for her own lightsaber and activates the purple blade in preparation as she hears blasterfire coming in torrents through the door.

(Balanced Guard and Bodyguard in as my schticks, Ush!)

(Hooray! Here come the cavalry. Yes, let's blow the last FP for a Defensive Leap. Let's head for the door! Activate coordination. Swap Perfect Strike for Riposte.)

When you're locked in a room and outnumbered, the best sound in the galxy is a Jedi's lughtsaber. Hearing that sound, Andro gathers the last of his strength and dives for the soon to be opened door, hopefully to stand with his comrades once again.

(Hope someone brought a medpack!)

Heading for the door will require an agility roll and would strip you of your cover.

(Basically, stay where you are. The others will get to you.)

Yup...

(That works, I'll stay put.)

In that case, Roan and Jelena arrive just as Kathya's droids destroy Andro's cover again... rather a lot of acid around now!

So here's what I'm thinking. Andro, this depends on whether or not you want to keep fighting. Let me know!

If Andro splits, Jelena and Roan should jump up, applying Bodyguard to each other (Roan gets Jelena's point of Armor, Jelena gets Roan's higher Defense), and attack a battle droid each, while Roan taps Reflection to hopefully down some more battle droids.

If Andro joins us, the plan will stay the same, but instead Jelena and Roan should nominate Andro with Bodyguard so that he gets the benefits, making up for his lost defenses. One of us could even tap Bodyguard to ensure he stays standing a bit longer!

Does that work Ush? I want to hear from Roan too obviously but I thought I would run it by you.

I didn't want to type out lots of gumf about bodyguards and 'clients' (as we call them) in the main rules, but basically Bodyguard protection can only go one way. This would apply to any similar 'client' powers that are created in future.

So Roan and Jelena can't protect each other, or they couldn't both protect the same person? Just one or the other?

Gosh and I thought I'd cheated somehow. 😛

They cannot protect each other.

But Andro can still benefit from both of us?

I need to hear what Andro and Roan think first anyways.

(If I can benefit from Bodyguard, then sure let's finish the ass kicking I started. 😗 Otherwise, I'm thinking Andro is tapped out for now. (no pun intended) Surely Kathya is smart enough to still have droids, or herself, concentrate on ANdro a few more moments to finish him off. Unless someone can occupy her, while Andro and another team up to wipe out the droids? I'd be up for that.)

I must say you guys are not that well equipped mooks. But if one of you taps Bodyguard for Andro he should survive (and kill a grand total of 1 mook) 😛

Okay! I'm thinking that Jelena will jump up with Andro and tap Bodyguard to keep him standing for a turn, while Roan taps Reflection and we all attack one droid each.
