i mean look at The Matrix: Revolutions; that last fight was one step away from being DBZ(energy beams)

Well, i respect everyone's opinions, it is not a movie like Batman or ironman, Instead dragonball has fantastic elements in a futuristic world that is supose to be earth, more like starwars(i am not saying the movie is going to be like starwars but has fantasy elements in it like KI=force, Ozaroo=Dark side of the force, Master Roshi=OBI wan, etc)

And this is not DBZ, this is base on Demon King Piccolo saga.
I agree with many that the casting could have been better

"Goku Is A Shell"

I didn't really like the idea of the movie since I first heard about it (big fan of the anime though)
I saw the trailer for it in the cinema the other day and I just don't think it looks very good. I don't like the character designs for one thing (Piccolo especially) I'm not a big fan of the guy who's playing Goku. And just the overall feel of the movie just comes across to me as cheesy and lame.
I probably will see this out of curiosity but it won't be until it's available to rent.

I don't think Piccolo looks evil enough.
I mean in the original anime he was really demented looking and down right scary.
Maybe it's the outfit? Too much like Batman had an affair with an X-Men uniform.

I think the common misconception is that most people think James Masters is playing this piccolo

When in fact his character is this Piccolo, (king piccolo yes?)

So the make up job isnt that inaccurate , aside from the antennas (they should be sticking out , I cant get pass that).

If they decide to make sequels, im sure the cooler young piccolo will show up. Not the hooked nose, potato bug lookin king piccolo.
