it should be a good season...

The third season of the television series True Blood will premiere on June 13, 2010 on HBO.i can't wait!!!

Tonight's the night!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I caught up on this show after 2 weeks ago. Started from the beginning. its great. cannot wait for season 3.

pretty good season premiere...

can't wait until next week's ep

Can't believe I never saw this thread before.

First ep of Season 3 came out? 😱

Gotta get me some TRUE BLOOD BABY!!!! 💃

Was hoping the

Spoiler:
werewolves would have been wolf-men when transformed; not wolves.
, still interested in the story though.

I thought the season premiere was very slow paced. Im sure it will pick up. I didnt like the wolves. I was hoping for something along the lines of Underworld instead of what we got.

2nd show was all right..

like how jessica is being portrayed

The werewolves suck...they're so weak that its not even funny. I mean 4 werewolves can't take on Bill alone?? thats weak.

It was five on Bill; kinda thought the same, but those werewolves could just be canon fodder.

In the preview of next week, it seems that long-haired one that is stalking Sookie is powerful enough to take down Eric.

continue to like bill's backstory...

knew james frain was up to no good, like his character though

And Bill is fairly weak compared to the other Vampires. Eric made the comment that when they get V in them tough they can be tough even for someone with his strength.

Spoiler:
Though that seems weird since the werewolves Bill killed were full of his blood.

However I don't think it is important for werewolves to rival Vampires in strength to make a interesting story, anyways.

I'm kinda with Robtard though,

Spoiler:
I prefer werewolves to be wolf-man
, not that I am disappointed, I thought all three episodes were exceedingly great, definitely better than some of the latter last season ones.

Wolves should never beat vampires. I mean they can move so fast they are invisible to the human eye, theres no way a wolf can keep up. As for strength, well they rip limbs off with ease...

I liked Godrick's appearance, he is so badass, wish he hadn't killed himself. I'm really looking forward to seeing some other special vampire abilities. So far I think we've only seen Eric's.

Also, wtf is with the Magister acting all top shit. He is only around 500 years old, Eric would snap his spine.

Anyway, could someone explain the hierarchy to me? I think it looks like this:

?>Magister>King/Queen>Sheriff>Rest

Anyone know who the Magister is accountable to? Also, shouldn't there be some sort of board that decides who is to hold which position?

Well, you are assuming that it is a somewhat democratic, or at least a somewhat division of power at the top, set up. We don't know that to be the case though, for all we know there is just one oldest or first or most powerful Vampire at the top. Or any other sort of theory.

I think you are somewhat right about the Magister - Queen - Sherrif thing though, except that I could imagine the Magister not to have an executive position, but rather a judicial one.

I don't know how it is in the book, but I think they haven't revealed that much in the show, yet, I am looking forward to more of it, I quite enjoy the backstory.

tonight's show was decent..

felt eric should've snapped that dudes neck though

I have grown to enjoy this show... it's actually pretty good.

Well that was a lack lustre episode...

Spoiler:

Only thing I look forward to is the eventual showdown between Russel and Eric. The old man has 2000 years on him, that'll be interesting.

Frankly I'm sick of Jason Stackhouse.

Sam and his family better do something interesting real quick, cause they're starting to bore me.

Sookie pisses me off because she's so stupid and stuck up.

Bill's a bit of a dumb ass too if you look at the decisions he's made.

Jessica looks smoking after the make-up.

Eric still the coolest character on the show.

Well, you know what, I only like watching the vampires/werewolves atm, the rest just feels like fillers. And please, just stop with the sex scenes, biggest waste of time. I think now is a good time to kill off half the cast, and bring some in some new blood =]
