Pretty good last episode. Much better than before. The King pwning Bills ass was sweet! It makes me wonder how Eric will get his revenge. Sad to see Franklin go. He was fun. As for Sookie looking hot, I dont necessarily think shes gorgeous but theres something about her thats very attracting. Jessica can suck me dry anytime!

As far as I can tell, only sunlight, stake to the heart, or fire can kill a vampire. I also suspect being drained of their blood will eventually kill them slowly. Given their healing factors, I'd say Franklin may heal back from that injury. When I saw that part, I was asking why Tara didn't stake him in the heart quickly. I was half expecting to see Franklin speed in to cut her off during her escape attempt.
BTW, does anyone know (maybe from the books...) why Eric said on multiple occasions that Godric was the head honcho and could be king of anywhere, when in fact Edington has around 1000 years on him?
I don't think Franklin is dead, he probably just needs a bit of time to regenerate from having his skull caved in.
He's also one of the few interesting characters, so the show would take a down-turn if that's it for him.
In anyone cares: In the books, he wasn't a loony bastard, he was a sadistic calculating miscreant who loved to torture Tara. So I'm told by a friend who read the series.

Godric's true age is uncertain, he could have been well over 3,000 years old, at the time of his death. They should dip into this a little more in Season 3, as we've seen flashbacks of Eric and Godric in WWII and it has to do with Russell.
As usual, I still Hate Jason, Sookie, and the other randoms, and the Eric/Russel storyline is looking good.

And please fck off with all the meaningless dreams/nightmare BULLSHIT. First it was Jason Stackhouse having all these little filler/time-wasting bullet-hole/headshot hallucinations that amounted to nothing, then this episode we get that redhead AND tara having random nightmares just to take up some running time. SHIT BALLS MOFO SHIT.
They better ramp up the Eric/Russel shit next episode, since its the only redeeming for this show at this point. At this rate, I take Vamp Diaries over this, too bad it hasn't started yet.
