It said bill had the powers equivalent to an 8000 year old vamp because Bill himself isn't 8000 years old. By drinking Lilith's blood and attaining her abilities, he gained the strength of an 8000 year old vamp, which means that she herself was the 8000 year old vamp in question.

She predated the human species, hence it is very likely that her age was somewhere in the range of that number.

And the bible was also wrong about Lilith being some god. She wasn't even close to even demi god level. She was just a powerful vamp.

Or maybe being the first vampire made her powers seem like they were on the level of a vampire of that age. Like a metric conversion for us to understand the level of her strength.

The bible didn't claim that she was god, that's the Sanguinistas. The vamp bible only mentions that she was of god, and Adam and Eve were made for her nourishment.

My bad. I fast forwarded her death scene to the flashbacks and her actual death.

Well to be fair it is hard to believe the Adam and Eve thing for many reasons.

The reason I believe my metric theory is simple. Humans go as far back as 195,000 years ago. There is no way she predated the human species.

And if we went by your theory theory of the 8000 thing it still doesn't add up.
