Halo 3 ODST

Forget about Halo 4, it looks like bungie's working on a new project set from the perspective of the Orbital Shock Drop Troops. Apparently they're going for a much grittier feel, and that sounds awesome to me

Shouldn't the title be ODST?

If it was just ODST people who don't know what an ODST is won't know what this is...

I meant it should be ODST in the title instead of OSDT. He switched the D and S.

I think I'm going to follow this and see where it goes....

Rumor seems to be that this is an expansion pack type thing, similar to the recent Crysis warhead. Where you experience the same scenario from Halo 3 but from a different perspective.

Except the ODST don't have shields...

So, it'd be pretty interesting.

The extended trailer came out revealing that the official name will be Halo 3 Recon

If Bungie learned how to create good maps then I'll be interested. They can program great AI and get the shooting down pat but level design is something they lack.

The special edition for ODST brings a ODST theme controller. Which sux because Halo 3 included the helmet and Moder warfare 2 includes the awesomely looking night vision goggles. On the plus side, I dont feel the need to get the special edition version. It'' save me some money.

This takes palce during halo 2 right? at least at the beggining of the game?

It would have to, right after Regret's ship went into slipspace is when these ODST's hit the ground.

despite the awesomeness of master chief, iot'll be cool to play as someone else
