Halo 3 ODST

Liking Zelda is shameful? Because liking one of the best and most innovative gaming series on the planet is horrible, right?

Same for Mario, and Final Fantasy actually(Depends on the installment though).

So.. anyone not getting this game?.. I'm teetering on that particular side atm.. I'd rather waste my money on tekken 6

even though i doubt it will be as good as halo 3 (hell any of them for that matter) its still absolutely going to be worth the money.... or so i hope

I'm vaguely interested in this. It looks a bit more inventive and creative than anything else done in the Halo series so far, so that's good.

Halo 3 ODST looks like it'll be better than Halo 3 because ODST's story looks intriguing while Halo 3's story felt plain and dull to me.

I've been hearing that new enemies will appear in this. What are the Covenant cooking up this time?

Only "new" covenant unit I have heard about are the engineers. But those are familiar characters to anyone who has read the books and played Halo Wars.

the story looks good to me.. and firefight mode (halo-horde) looks really fun as well.. but I'm just wondering what kind of gameplay they're offering for the price of a new game

its an expansion sats. its the same gameplay just tweaked a little bit.

Somewhat. I mean, they've brought back the Halo 1 pistol. Added the Engineers, Added health stations since ODSTs don't have energy shields, etc.

Not to mention no dual wielding. I have also heard that the X button when hit brings up VISR instead of dropping equipment(bubble shield, flare, etc.)

Seems to me that it is closer to the first installment in the series, and in my opinion the best.

I'm on the fence for this game. I feel like playing it but I don't want to spend alot for XBOX Live.

It's not an expansion because if it was, it wouldn't be 69 bucks.

Yeah thats kinda my gripe too.. like I do want to experience this game.. because I like what they added.. but I'm not sure they changed it enough to warrant 60 bucks

If the SP is roughly 10 hours, and Firefight mode and online (even though its Halo 3), its not that bad of deal unless you already have Halo 3.

I enjoy Halo first and foremost for the story, everything else comes second. I sense a good story, so, "what the hell" is my attitude towards this game. It would be an even better buy if I hadn't purchased the maps plus the collectors edition of Halo Wars. But, "what the hell."

No game is worth 60.

**** that I'll get it using my discount in the game shop I work in. Even then I am going to wait until its cheaper.

It'll cost £40 here in UK. ****ing rip off, but people buy it that price for the "limited content"...i'm waiting for this to cheapen

I don't play Halo much at all but this looks more interesting.

I never cared about the extra stuff.

I honestly wasn't hyped up at all for this game until I saw that video. I still don't know if its seperate levels or one huge city,... but it just looks really awesome

the game is free roam/sandbox style so its all one level.

looks pretty good. i like the fact that theyre returning the mechanics to mirror halo 1's gamestyle. i liked it more that way.
