Jacob looked at Ben and the Keeper that was gaining on them. He broke away from Frank and limped towards Ben and the Keeper. "We're getting out of here Ben, just all you need to do is remember that one game." Ben stopped and took a defensive football stance. In a little less than a second, he charged forward slamming into the Keeper and toppling him over. With a great heave, he picked him up off the ground and flung him off the edge of the Normandy. Ben supported Jacob to the chopper and they boarded. "Kat is in the docking bay!"
Rek swung the chopper around, as Sam ordered the team in the chopper to open fire on the infected and the Keepers. Rek himself had to supress the urge to shove Ben back out of the chopper to die, when Jacob mentioned where Kat was, but his senses, the human ones anyway, kept him in check. "Everyone abroad?!" He yelled over the roar of the rotary blades.
"Waiiit!!" Frank leapt from the Normandy's hull to grab hold of the fast rope Carlos had used to gain entry. "Help!"
Rek was startled and nodded to Sam. "Theres your answer to the question you asked me earlier, he's fine. Better pull him up."
"Heh, yea I will." Sam smiled. "Umm, you the guy with Jakko, help me pull him up bro!" he points to Ben, the grabs hold of the rope, which hadn't been detached, and hauled it up.
"Jacob, contact Kat, tell her we're on our way to pick them up!" Called Rek, not having Kats frequeny, couldn't pinpint her location exactly. "Gerald, get some meds and patch him up."
The soldier he had met near the Norad nodded and quickly rummaged through the equipment box, while they still had it.
"Gather weapons and ammo, only what you need, we're dumping the rest down their throats! Selina, waste the MG ammo, theres another four boxes stored on the rack above you."
((also, him bringing out his infected side gives him extreme strength and agility, so he wouldn't have nedded the rope to get up. he just jumped like a leaper.))
carlos reloaded and turned around to the other side of the helicopters compartment, peering down his sniper scope at the infected. "well thats a pity." he put down his rifle and began to prime and throw grenades down into the horde directly from the ammo crate. he watched as infected were blown apart in dozens. "they should make this a sport."
Jacob sat up and peered out of the door of the chopper. "Kamarov was my old commanding officer, back when I was just a Sergeant. I was part of the original security detail of the Labs. We were Assault Team Omega.. and after the outbreak, me and Ben are the only Omegas left.. well besides Kamarov." He pulled a large patch off of the shoulder of his armor to reveal the "Omega Symbol". Ben did the same and pushed his mask up to reveal a large scar running down his face. "If we ever want to end this.. we'll need to head back into the remains of the labs and find the god-mind.. if he is ever still there." Jacob shook his head. "No, I'm going 'home'. Ben nodded and put his hand on his shoulder. "She's alive, man. I just know it." Jacob pressed a code into a small device on his arm and sighed as a gleam appeared in the distance. It appoached quckly and an Omega Team Chopper flew next to theirs. "Oh and Rek, about earlier, it wasn't Ben that let the first infected out.. it was me. Talk to you later, mate." With a two-fingered salute, he and Ben leapt into the other chopper and just watched the others as the pilot prepared to leave. "Meet you in London!"

((i have no idea what you just said. please repost. jr, i was talking about carlos, my mistake for not actually posting his name.))
((I won't be on all today or most of tomorrow so I am clearing this up so that my characters won't be hanging and you can continue the story.))
Hours later, the chopper set down and the two hopped out, moving quickly towards a house. Ben took aim at the door and Jacob opened the door and moved inward slowly, with his gun raised. It was an eery quiet inside the house as Jacob slowly moved through the garage to the kitchen door. As he turned the nob and pushed the door open, a Double-Barrel shot gun was pointed in his face by an old man. "Hey Dad." His father stepped back and lowered the weapon. "Well damn Jake, you scared the hell out of me." With a laugh, he turned around and pulled them into the house. Entering the living room, he saw his cousin and two soldiers studying over a map of the city. All the windows on the bottom floor had been boarded over, and it made a kind of dull look around the room. Moving past the living room, he trudged up the stairs and opened the door to reveal soldiers all sitting around holding rifles. Most were watching out of the windows, and many were out on the balconies trying to fire at any infected they saw. Ignoring them, he trudged up the second staircase to his room on the third floor, and opened the door. All was in it's place, but for some reason, he shower was running. He inched closer to the bathroom door and gently pushed it open, just to be hit with a blast of steam. When the steam cleared, he saw a woman holding up a towel, holding a gun in his face. "Nice to see you too, sweetie..."
Originally posted by ShaggsRek exchanged glances with Sam, then Frank, then Carlos and Kat (assuming shes onboard). He turned his head to the side to get a clear view of the Omega squad chopper, and nodded to Jacob and Ben, his respect for his old buddies. "London..." He whispered, glancing back to the soldiers in the choppers. "I guess we're heading for good old blighty, ladies and gentlemen. My old home." He brought the chopper up the speed and checked the fuel gage. Half tank. (what happened to the Marines, supposedly rescuing us?)

Frank smiled at Sam, giving his old partner a punch on the shoulder. "Dude, been a while..."
"I guess..." Sam replied, looking Frank over then ignored him completely, turning to Rek. "There is a military chopper base about thirty five miles from here," he pointed tothe GPS, "generally south westerly."
Rek looked up, after watching Jacob's chopper disappear. "Maybe, but its inland, further than I'd recommend going. The coastal areas might be best."
Frank shook his head. "Inland is better, at least we know where the enemy is then. Safer than not knowing.
((They are escorting you. When you all reach Londong, it will be caught up to where Jacob returned to his old home.))
Jacob stood there, looking at her with a large smile on his face. The woman's expression was blank as she put her finger on the trigger. "Who are you!?" Jacob's face twisted in confusion until he remember he was wearing the helmet. Pushing it up off his face, her anger melted away, and before he could respond, she was wrapped around him. "Where have you been!?" She yelled in tears. Jacob turned around and stepped out of the bathroom. "We'll talk when you get dressed." She nodded and shut the door, wiping at her eyes. A few minutes later, she stepped back out and moved over to his bed, where he was hunched over looking under it. When she sat down, he pulled himself out from under the bed, grasping a 12-gauge shotgun. He leaned it against the wall and sat next to her. "It's been really hard not knowing where you were.. the first incident was hard enough on me.." Jacob nodded and looked at the ground. "I'm sorry.. I just thought I could actually help some old friends of mine." She nodded, understanding his motives. Jacob stood and walked over to a computer desk and pulled an old pistol from the drawer. Looking to his left, he was surprised to see her armor laying on the ground. "Where you out there fighting those things too!?" She nodded and walked up behind them. "Well I AM miss Book, aren't I? We Books are fighters to the end." With a laugh Jacob looked over at her. "Suit up."
....yeah i guess we're there.)
Kat sat quietly in the back with Shannon nervously at her side. The bleeding had stopped, and Kat was able to put weight on her bad leg and move quickly. She had learned to ignore the pain. But Shannon knew Kat had lost a lot of blood from the wound and was weak, which is why she was so fretful over her mother at the moment, but she knew Kat would be able to manage and continue on without trouble. But Kat didnt take notice to her daughter. Right now her eyes were on Rek. They had been on Rek for some time. And it seems that they would remain on Rek.
It was several hours later when the chopper touched down on the tarmac of the by now deserted chopper base, dusk clearly in the air. Rek unstrapped himself, carefully as to not to break his already preassured ribs and skeletal structure in general from his ordeal of the last day or so. He reached out and grabbed his assault rifle, not actually his proferred assault rifle but one he had found. "Scout detail, I want two squads of three to scout out the area for supplies and equiment. Our priority is fuel."
Frank nodded and turned to climb out of the chopper. "Quicken the pace people... we want to find shelter for the night." He watched Sam climb out after him.
Rek refrained from hitting the landing lights on, the noise of the chopper alone was enough of a beacon, plus Carlos flaunting his abilties wouldn't do us good as he also attracts the bigger badder blood gutters. "Try not to attract too much attention, more than this chopper already has. Kat," he paused, stepping onto the spent shell covered tarmac. "Hey, you okay?" His expression softening to worried levels as he moved to the side under the slowing rotation of the blades. "Shannon. Nice to see you two made it..."
Kat laughed and jumped out of the copper, wincing a bit at her landing. "Yeah I'm fine. Thought you were dead Rek.. I just cant believe you're ok." She frowned and made her way out from under the blades with a gun hanging from her shoulder by its strap. "You are ok right?" Shannon smiled, staying close to her Mom's side. "Good to see you to Lt."
Sam turned to Selina. "Its a chopper base, its bound to have fuel tanks, we just need to find them... since you shot off your big mouth, you take first squad." He smiled, pulling the catch on his SCAR H CQC assault rifle. "Lieutenant Lie." He inwardly laughed at what she was thinking at being ordered around by a Staff Seargent.
Rek smiled at Kat. "Well the fall was rather painful, but I don't know much else..." Glancing at Shannon, he then turned to face the group. "Night falls in two hours. Kat, yo sure your okay?"
