Carpathian sighed "i never had much of a childhood. like i said, no parents, taken from birth. went through those years only thinking that kill or be killed was how to live. i had to kill family and friends to survive...all for a purpose i deserted years after..." he shook his head and closed his eyes

She frowned and tickled the kitten's stomach. "Well thats not a happy childhood."

Carpathian nodded "dark elves are different from surface elves. views and all. different"

=He got onto all fours and walked over to Carpatian rubbing against his leg as if to comfort. A soft mew escaping his mouth.=

Carpathian petted the kitten and looked at Lin "dead memories...whats done is done. no one has that kind of power to forgive what has been done"

She sighed and laid back on the grass. "Escept for those who know not your crimes." She smiled and looked over at him.

Carpathian smiled and looked back at her "are you one who know not my crimes?"

She shrugged and closed her eyes. "Depends on how much you tell me."

=He made his way over to her and jumped onto her belly. There he curled up into a ball and just layed there.=

Carpathian looked away "what i told you was enough to be executed many times over...i'm not proud of what i done but i needed to survive"

She smiled and put her hand on the kitten. "Well then I guess I'm one of those who know not."

Carpathian smiled weakly and watched her "i'm sorry for how i acted when we first met...i had to scare you off"

She smiled and nodded her understanding. "I know. It's alright."

Carpathian got up and walked over to Lin and sat down next to her "how did you find yourself here?"

She frowned and looked up at him. "Looking for my brother."

Carpathian's eyes went up in shock "what happened? did he wander off or did something take him?"

She shrugged. "He left a couple months ago. I dont know why.. I dont know if he's alive but I'm going to find out."

Carpathian looked away, torwards the forest "do you think he might have gotten lost in there?"

=the Kitten sat up and mewed at them over and over untill he got their attention. He jumped off Lin and trotted into the direction of the forest=

Carpathian got up quickly and scooped the kitten up "unless you're willing to die to a hungry being, i'd advise you to stay out of the forest"
