This is because G, as you know, Fury wasn't suppose to be part of 616,
Fury was only there because Merlin manipulated events as you know.

this is why Cobweb didn't see Fury stopping Jaspers:

Fury's destiny was manipulated by Merlin, this took Fury out of Cobweb's sight,
who sees things that are going to happen as they should.

Plus, Merlin also confirmed what Cobweb saw, we know Merlin would know.

Apparently there are levels of infinity in DC, as well...considering the Monitor's book had infinite pages in it and took two people to lift it in Captain Marvel and Superman. Yet the same book was lifted solo by Ultraman. Which makes little sense, because half of infinity is still infinity, thus if Supes and Marvel were able to team up to lift it, and Ultraman lifts it by himself, either one of the team should've been able to do so themselves.

And rereading that paragraph, I confused myself. So I hope someone else understands it.
